What a busy month May has been! Sorry for my lack of posts but I was really really busy making party decorations for little girls... I should start posting some of them here on the blog too!

 

Anyways, June 1 means a new CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!

Gerda Steiner April Challenge.

Good afternoon and welcome to my blog!

 

Today I'm happy to share a new card with you:

 

 

These adorable gnomes are from Gerda Steiner and I received it for free since I had taken part in their March Challenge.

 

I opted for a father-daughter theme and made a Father's Day card.

 

We have already had Father's Day in Italy (March 19) but I know that in many Countries it'll be in June so there's plenty of time to make some new cards for that day!

I'm finally here with my card for this month's challenge at Gerda Steiner!

 

We received another super-cute digi stamp this month and this is my card:

 

 

I colored this adorable cat in the shelf with my Copics and positioned it on papers from Dovecraft.

I don't have a cat but if I did, I'd love to have one like this!

I'm here today with my card for Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge:

 

 

These super-cute bunnies were sent to all those who took part in their January Challenge and I must confess I've fallen in love with them!

 

Instead of making a love or Valentine card, I opted for a birthday-themed card using papers I found in a local shop. I digged in my drawers for hours because I remembered I had a paper with red tulips which matched perfectly the tulip of the image and it was worth the search!

Gerda Steiner January Challenge.

Good afternoon!

 

I'm finally back here after a terrible flu which prevented me from taking part in Bugaboo Birthday Bash. I printed tons of images and started working on the second card but I had to surrender to fever and cough...

 

Back on track now with my monthly card for Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge:

 

 

The image we were given was this super-cute Panda in Love digital stamp. I took out all my pink Copics and had fun coloring hearts in different shades of pink and red!

The background paper was from my stash as well as the two lilac buttons!

I received this sweet Bunny as I took part in their November challenge and I was SO happy to have something not related to Christmas to work with!

Gerda Steiner November Challenge - Hello Friend!

Here I am with my monthly post for the Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge.

 

This month I received this super-cute mouse since I had entered the October challenge and made this card:

 

 

I found this triangle-shaped card in a magazine and I thought it was perfect for this image. It's called Balancing Holiday Mouse and is available in Gerda Steiner's shop.

 

Background paper is from Doodlebug as well as the message. The digi is colored with Copics and lots og glitter!

Gerda Steiner October Challenge - With Love.

Good afternoon!

 

I'm here today for my monthly post for Gerda Steiner Challenge.

 

We received this adorable Racoon digital stamp as we took part in their September challenge and it was a pleasure to create a card with its funny face looking at me!

 

This is my card:

 

 

I colored it with Copics and positioned it on papers from Pebbles and We R Memory Keepers.

I loved the fact that there was a little racoon in the background paper too!

The sentiment is froma stamp set I found in a magazine.

A Monster Birthday!

Good morning!

 

I'm soooo happy to be here today with a non-Christmas card!

I had a few hours and decided to dedicate to my card for Gerda Steiner Monthly Challenge:

 

 

It's Birthday Monster digi stamp from Gerda Steiner, colored with Copics and mounted on papers from Best Creation (they are old, I know...).

 

I tried to keep colors neutral so that they could work for both a boy's or a girl's birthday.

I received this super strong Bee as I entered Gerda Steiner February Challenge.

Every month I find myself anxiuosly waiting for the new image coming in my inbox, I LOVE them all!

Spring is in the air so it was a pleasure to work with these bright happy colors!

 

Background papers are from Echo Park and American Crafts, I then added the bee colored with Copics and some tiny yellow pearls.

I must confess that hedgehogs have never been a passion of mine, maybe becuase it's not something we see in the big city. But now, after years of crafting, they are one of my favourite subjects!

 

You can imagine how happy I was when I saw this month's image for Gerda Steiner's Monthly Challenge: Hedgehogs Smooches!

This cute little Mouse with Cookie is from Gerda Steiner Designs and I chose it for I could use the colors requested for this challenge, adding an extra red touch to make it more christmassy.

 

I'm already piling cards for next Christmas!

The image is Wishlist Santa from Gerda Steiner and I received it for I played in last month's challenge.

I colored Santa with Copics and lots of glitter and positioned it on papers from Echo Park.

Since I am busy with custom orders, I didn't have much time to work on cards this week so I decided to make one suitable for both our challenge and Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge.

 

This super-cute dog is the digi I received for entering their October Challenge: it's Naughty Puppy and you can find it in Gerda Steiner Designs shop.

 

I colored it with Copics and glitter while the background paper is from a kit I found years ago in a local shop.

 

Well, this is officially the last challenge of the year. From next week we will start a new term with new DT members, new challenges and some changes.
