Bugaboo 6th Birthday Bash - Day 4.

Yesterday I managed to finish two more cards for the Bugaboo 6th Birthday Bash Challenge.

 

The first one was for Day 4 and this was the theme:

I chose the left vertical column: 2 animals, Sentiment and Buttons and created this:

 

 

 The cute lion and elephant toppers are two different images which I put together on the same line. Papers are from Craft Asylum.

Friendship.

Hello!

I'm here today to show you a card I finished Yesterday talking about friendship.

Can a lion and a lamb be friends?

 

Maybe not, but I love to think that... maybe yes, why not?

Since opposites attract, there's often the possibility that in a couple of friends (or fiancés or siblings) a lion and a lamb may get along perfectly.

 

And this stamp speaks to them all:

 

 

This digi was a freebie from Gerda Steiner, especially created for her latest challenge.

 

I used my Copics and some papers from the All About Boys collection from DCWV. I thought about friendship but they may look like husband and wife, too!

A Lovely Sketch Challenge Part 2

I did it!

I've just finished the boy version of the card I told you about a few hours ago (have a look here or scroll down to see my post).

I've used a bright green card and papers from DCWV and, of course, the lion stamp from the Jungle Out There set of stamps by There She Goes.
(No, this time the upper part has not been placed to cover a mistake but because I eventually like it very much!).

Although my daughter and I chose this set mainly for the monkey, I must admit that all the animals are very cute! I bet I (we) will use it over and over again!

I enter this card in There She Goes Challenge # 178: sketch



and I head towards the kitchen to prepare dinner!

I Miss You... Challenges!

I really miss you challenges and blog posts!

My mom is still recovering and I spend most of my days taking care of her but she has no computer at home so I cannot use the spare time I have there to write something on the blog. And when I come home... well, lots of things are to be done and time is never enough.

Yesterday, I took some supplies with me and managed to color some stamps and make a card for a challenge!

Here's my card:

This digi is Lion - digi from Hambo Stamps and was given for free to all participants in last week Challenge. Of course, I made this card to enter Hambo Hoedown Challenge # 5: they want to see the lion, the sentiment and some stripes.

Well, I have to go: it'll be another busy week, in addition I have Custom orders so I don't know when I'm back but I hope SOOON, there are so many interesting challenges out there...
