Little Bags for Your Easter Treats.

Here I am again with a creation for Easter.

It's not a card but something quite different:

I found these mini plastic bags in a local shop and their colors inspired me to decorate them with an Easter theme.
I reached for my Flopsy Bunny stamp from Eat Cake Graphics and colored the eggs matching the bag.
I also added a girly ribbon tied in a bow and decorated with a tiny button.

Colors are probably my favourite together!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

These little bags will be available in my Etsy shop later today. If you are interested and you can't find them or if you want a different quantity, don't hesitate to contact me!

A Happy Little Chick.

Today I have a bright and happy card to show you, one that makes me happy every time I look at it!

This cute little chick is Dancing Spring Chick from Drawn with Character, colored with Copics and mounted on a background paper from Pink Petticoat.
I added lots of butterflies which make this chick even happier and an elegant ribbon decorated with a tiny button.

I opted for an Easter sentiment, but this card is perfect for many occasions: Mother's Day, Birthday, Thinking of You, Thank You and many more.

Easter is Just Around the Corner.

A request from a customer made me realize that Easter arrives early this year and that maybe it's time to make Easter cards!

I have one to show you today:

I made this card last year, when I was in Eat Cake Graphics DT and I noticed that I have not blogged about it yet!

This lovely bunny is Flopsy Bunny available in Eat Cake Graphics shop. Papers are from October Afternoon.

I really love this cute little bunny so proud with its giant egg in its hands!

The card will be available later today in my shop.
Don't forget that most of my cards are for sale. If you like one of them but don't see it in the shop, please contact me and I'll provide a listing for you!

Happy Easter!

Today I'd like to show you a card my daughter has just made for her cousins for Easter:

She chose this cute Baby Easter Bunny from my collection of 2 Cute Ink digi stamps: she loves their images and she often asks me to print one of them for her crafts!

Now that she's on her Easter break, she has found some time to finish a card: she can now use my Copics without supervision and I think she's done a great job!

I colored it with Copics and glitter and mounted it on a paper from Best Creations.

This chickie is one of the latest Easter-themed stamp available in the shop: check them here, there are images for every occasion!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 300 - Sparkle.

Welcome to the third and last card for the Cupcake Inspirations Celebrations!

This time the theme is "Sparkle":

I made this:

I used a super-shiny paper from First Edition (Spring Drop) and added lost of glitter to the spots in the egg.
The image is Chick on Egg which I purchased last year from Gerda Steiner Designs: I adore this little chick painting the egg!

I'm happy I've found the time to make the three cards for this challenge!

And... Happy Birthday Cupcake Inspirations!

Happy Easter with Eat Cake Graphics.

I'm so sorry I've been a bit away from the blog recently but I must have caught a bug... I'm so behind schedule on everything, from blogging to ironing and tomorrow Easter holidays begin...
I try to look at the positive side... I haven't eaten for a while so I should have lost some weight!

Anyway, those who follow Eat Cake Graphics blog might have noticed one of my projects posted on Monday. It was an Easter bell tag I made using Flopsy Bunny Has Got an Egg stamp.
You can read all abou it here on Eat Cake Graphics blog but I'd like to show you a picture:

I found this chipboard bell tag in my stash and decided to make something with Flopsy.

Since I had stamped lots of bunnies, I decided to color its eggs in different pastel colors and make tinier tags. These ones:

I've color coordinated each egg with the dots on the tag, made with papers from Pink Petticoat. I've made a bunch of them, they look so cute!

Happy Easter to everybody!

A Very Sweet Easter Bunny.

Yesterday I was inspired by the challenge at 2 Cute Ink to finish a card I've had on my table for a while.

I wanted to make a CAS card for Easter using a 2 Cute Ink bunny surrounded by eggs, an image I found perfect for a little baby.
I had already planned everything and colored the image with my Copics but I never found the time to finish it.
I added the bow, some rhinestones and, of course, glitter!

Here's my card:

Isn't it sweet?

Time for an Easter Challenge at Broken Box Stock!

With Easter just around the corner it's time to prepare Easter cards!

Broken Box Stock Challenge this week is about Easter so, if you havent' finished with your cards yet, think about making one (or even two), take a photo before sending it to your dearest ones and enter the challenge!

I had two digi stamps to work with and since I loved both of them, I decided to make two cards.

The first one with the new Easter Bunny Toodle (available here as black and white digi stamp and here in a pretty colored version) with a lovely glittered cardstock from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations and two stripes made with washi tape.

The second with Easter Toodle (available here as digi stamp and here colored) again with a lovely glittered paper from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations.

Both images are colored with Copic markers and glitter, glitter, glitter!
The dotted and the sriped papers are from Craftwork Cards.

I really cannot decide which is my fav!

Ready to make your Easter cards?

Another Easter Card

I've just finished another Easter card:

This time I've decided to "go green" for my card. I've used a glittered cardstock from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations which I've matched with a striped paper from my stash.
The yellow on the cardstock suggested me to put a yellow ribbon next to the image from Broken Box Stock: she is Easter Toodle (available here as a black & white digi stamp and here in a colored version).
I love that little bunny hiding eggs in her hair!
A touch of glitter, rhinestones and a button to decorate the card and voilĂ  a fresh and sweet Easter card!

This card is for the following challenges:

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge # 49: Spring Colors of Yellow and Green

Spring is in the Air!

What a lovely spring Sunday is today!

Weather is finally warm, sun shines and... Easter is coming!

I've just finished a spring-y Easter card:
I've used the lovely Easter Bunny Toodle from Broken Box Stock (available in both a black and white digi here and as colored digi here).
I've colored her with Copic markers and glitter, added two pearls as earrings (as usual) on a white card with spring patterned papers (the one with the butterfly is from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations).
I've added pearls in the corner, two washi tape flags and some paper butterflies.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Happy Spring!

Hoppy Spring!

I've just finished my first spring and Easter cards!
I'm happy to be back to pastel colors after all that red!

Here's my card:

I've used Spring Bunnies from Hambo Digi Stamps, a digi I had wanted for a long time and which I gave myself at the end of last year. I love this digi so much that I made two cards, one for spring and one for Easter!

I've always had the idea to use some foam pads to add dimension to some of the bunnies, a lovely little detail!
Colors are Copics and papers are from First Edition.

This card is for the following challenges:

Another Challenging Challenge...

This time the Challenge was really challenging: I had to make an "Easel Card".
I hardly knew the meaning of easel and I thought I could never do one but, thanks to the instructions I found together with the Challenge, it was very very easy to make one and I'll surely do more in the future.

This is the card:
and, of course, it is for the Hambo Hoedown Challenge # 10: they gave us this lovely "Penguin-Bunny" digi with the instructions to make an easel card.
It is my very first card of this type so it may not be a great card but I love this little penguin disguised as a rabbit!

An Easter Card.

It's almost Easter and I have an Easter card to show you:

I made this card using Polka Dot Easter Bunny from Bugaboo Stamps and some bright colors.
The bunny is colored with watercolor pencils and embellished with glitter (the egg and... the tail!) while the bunny's bow is embellished with a rhinestone.
I used a turquoise cardstock to make the card and I found the floral paper among my forgotten Sizzix pads: it matches perfectly!
Three punched butterflies with pearls and a matching turquoise ribbon give that special touch!

I made this card to enter the following challenges:

But yesterday I made a Christmas card...

Spring.

Yesterday, I had another spare hour after school so I managed to make another card.
I had several digis already colored but I decided to make an Easter card, my very first Easter card this year! Luckily enough, this special holiday comes late so I still have time to prepare some for the shop and for family and friends.
After the snow last week, yesterday was a very sunny warm day and spring was really in the air. I was inspired by bright and pastel colors mixed together.

This is the card:
For this little card I used a Bugaboo Wee Ones Easter digi stamp colored with watercolor pencils and glitters for the eggs.
I added some paper flowers and some pearls.

This card fits perfectly several challenges:
Catch the Bug Challenge which says "Anything Goes"
Cute Card Thursday Challenge #154 which says "Signs of Spring"
Crafty Calendar Challenge #18 which says "Spring"
and, last but not least,
Papertake Weekly Challenge which says "Lemon Zingy"

That's all for today, I've to go back to my "daughter duties"...
