Happy Sunday!

We are back with a new color challenge here at Christmas Card Challenges!

In detail:

This is my card:

I chose this adorable Susi's First Snow from Marina Neira back in 2014 (!) and I still hadn't made anything with her.
These colors inspired me to finally make a card!
Background papers are from Doodlebug and she is colored with Copics of course!
She's lovely!

My teamies have made gorgeous cards this week as usual, check them all here!

Little Bags for Your Easter Treats.

Here I am again with a creation for Easter.

It's not a card but something quite different:

I found these mini plastic bags in a local shop and their colors inspired me to decorate them with an Easter theme.
I reached for my Flopsy Bunny stamp from Eat Cake Graphics and colored the eggs matching the bag.
I also added a girly ribbon tied in a bow and decorated with a tiny button.

Colors are probably my favourite together!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 308 - Make Your Own Embellishment.

Here we are with a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we challenge you to make your own embellishment.

This is my card:

This lovely rabbit is s.s. Hoppity from Robyn's Fetish colored with Copics.
My handmade embellishment is very simple this time: I cut some black cardstock and made the seagulls which I now realize are not black...

Need inspiration? Have a look here to see the amazing creations from the DT!
I can't wait to see what kind of handmade embellies you create!

A Bit Late...

As you probably know I love to take part in Your Next Stamp Challenges, I haven't missed one since Challenge # 1!

This fortnight I'm a bit late with my card and with my post but here I am to show you my make!

I followed this sketch:

and made this card:

For the first time I'm not entering with one of Your Next Stamp stamps.
I planned to use one of my sweet monsters again but I thought that this digi stamp from Gerda Steiner was perfect for the sketch.
This Bunny is Bunny on the Scooter, colored with Copics and mounted on a background paper from Peebles I've recently treated myself with.
I've tried to follow the color challenge too but then I added a touch of green...

This card is for the following challenges:

A Sweet Little Mini Card.

I've had some spare time this afternoon to play with a freebie image I got from Lia Stampz and make a card for their challenge.

There were two sketches to choose from. I chose this one:

and decided to make the tiniest of cards:

This cute bunny (you can find it here) came with a sentiment but I made a mistake while resizing it and it came out too big for this card so I opted for a more traditional I Love You which I had in my stash.

I used scraps of paper and a heart button and made the cutest of cards!

I don't know why but mini cards are always my fav!

Christmas Card Challenge # 45 - Layer It Up!

Layers, layers, layers!
That's what we want to see in your cards this week at Christmas Card Challenges!

This is my card:

I don't know if you can see all these layers from this picture: card base, background paper, paper stripe (both from Papermania), ribbon and bow and button, rabbits with a pop-up scarf...

I love to add dimension on my card and to add details to my images using 3D dots!

These rabbits are one of my recent purchases from Cuddly Buddly: they are Bunny Buddies and I loved how they are wrapped up in that big cozy scarf!

My teamies have made a great job this week too!!!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 260 - Colour Combo

Hello!
Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we have a colour combo for you:

And I have two cards to show you:

For both cards I used stamps from Flonzcraft: they come from a 4" x 7" (10 x 18 cm) sheet of clear stamps (7 in total) called Cat Mommy Walking.
The first thing that came into my mind when I saw the little rabbit mending a sock was my mom: I Always give her the few things I need to mend! I should make a "Thank you" card for her too!

Papers are from Trimgym and belong to the "Here Comes the Sun" set.

They are both sponsors this week so you may have the chance to win one of their prizes!

Have a look here at our Challenge blog to check the beautiful creations from the DT and the fabulous sponosrs we have this week!

I'd like to enter my cards into the following challenges:

Time for an Easter Challenge at Broken Box Stock!

With Easter just around the corner it's time to prepare Easter cards!

Broken Box Stock Challenge this week is about Easter so, if you havent' finished with your cards yet, think about making one (or even two), take a photo before sending it to your dearest ones and enter the challenge!

I had two digi stamps to work with and since I loved both of them, I decided to make two cards.

The first one with the new Easter Bunny Toodle (available here as black and white digi stamp and here in a pretty colored version) with a lovely glittered cardstock from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations and two stripes made with washi tape.

The second with Easter Toodle (available here as digi stamp and here colored) again with a lovely glittered paper from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations.

Both images are colored with Copic markers and glitter, glitter, glitter!
The dotted and the sriped papers are from Craftwork Cards.

I really cannot decide which is my fav!

Ready to make your Easter cards?
Have a look here for the rules and, if you need some inspiration, don't forget to have a look at the other fabulous creations from my fellow DT members!

Spring is in the Air!

What a lovely spring Sunday is today!

Weather is finally warm, sun shines and... Easter is coming!

I've just finished a spring-y Easter card:
I've used the lovely Easter Bunny Toodle from Broken Box Stock (available in both a black and white digi here and as colored digi here).
I've colored her with Copic markers and glitter, added two pearls as earrings (as usual) on a white card with spring patterned papers (the one with the butterfly is from the Bunny Love Collection from Best Creations).
I've added pearls in the corner, two washi tape flags and some paper butterflies.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Happy Spring!

Hoppy Spring!

I've just finished my first spring and Easter cards!
I'm happy to be back to pastel colors after all that red!

Here's my card:

I've used Spring Bunnies from Hambo Digi Stamps, a digi I had wanted for a long time and which I gave myself at the end of last year. I love this digi so much that I made two cards, one for spring and one for Easter!

I've always had the idea to use some foam pads to add dimension to some of the bunnies, a lovely little detail!
Colors are Copics and papers are from First Edition.

This card is for the following challenges:

An Easter Card.

It's almost Easter and I have an Easter card to show you:

I made this card using Polka Dot Easter Bunny from Bugaboo Stamps and some bright colors.
The bunny is colored with watercolor pencils and embellished with glitter (the egg and... the tail!) while the bunny's bow is embellished with a rhinestone.
I used a turquoise cardstock to make the card and I found the floral paper among my forgotten Sizzix pads: it matches perfectly!
Three punched butterflies with pearls and a matching turquoise ribbon give that special touch!

I made this card to enter the following challenges:

But yesterday I made a Christmas card...

Crafty Sunday

Strange enough, I have a free Sunday.
And, of course, I'm crafting.
Custom orders shipped, mom healthy at her home, daughter ready to go to the park with her dad, I can dedicate some time to make cards and enter a few challenges.
Actually, I'm not listening to wardrobes asking for some care after this long winter, washing machine ready to be loaded, dry laundry ready to be folded...

The first card ready to be entered in challenges this week is this one:
I found this lovely digi image at Amber Ink a while ago and I loved the engagement theme with these two simple yet adorable rabbits.
I colored them with watercolor pencils, added lots of papers from the Linen Closet Collection by DCWV, added a luxurious ribbon I found in the haberdashery near my home and two small paper roses bought at Wild Orchid Crafts.
Even if I prefer candy or pastel colors, I love the way it has turned out: elegant and simple.

I followed this sketch:

This card will be entered in the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge # 94: they gave us the sketch
A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge # 144: they asks for ribbon, pearls/rhinestones and flowers
Cupcake Crafts Challenge # 134: they ask for monochromatic cards

Well, I still have time to make another card... if I pretend not to see what else I should be doing...

Kona Kid Krafter's Challenge

(2nd post today...)

I have a few minutes and I'm happy to dedicate this post to one of my daughter's creations.

A couple of weeks ago I found out a card challenge just for kids: Kona Kid Krafter's Challenge # 19 and asked my daughter if she wanted to enter a card.
I let her choose one of my digis, folded a piece of paper for her and she made her card.

Here's what she created:
I let her choose amongst some of my cut shapes and embellishments, she added one of her stickers and made her own sentiment "Solo per Te" (Just for You). The digi is colored with pencils and embellished with some glitter (well, yes, I let her use MY glitters...).

The theme this month is "Anything Goes" and so she could choose something she liked.

She is very proud of her card and I think it's lovely!

Spring.

Yesterday, I had another spare hour after school so I managed to make another card.
I had several digis already colored but I decided to make an Easter card, my very first Easter card this year! Luckily enough, this special holiday comes late so I still have time to prepare some for the shop and for family and friends.
After the snow last week, yesterday was a very sunny warm day and spring was really in the air. I was inspired by bright and pastel colors mixed together.

This is the card:
For this little card I used a Bugaboo Wee Ones Easter digi stamp colored with watercolor pencils and glitters for the eggs.
I added some paper flowers and some pearls.

This card fits perfectly several challenges:
Catch the Bug Challenge which says "Anything Goes"
Cute Card Thursday Challenge #154 which says "Signs of Spring"
Crafty Calendar Challenge #18 which says "Spring"
and, last but not least,
Papertake Weekly Challenge which says "Lemon Zingy"

That's all for today, I've to go back to my "daughter duties"...
