CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for May - Mid-Month Inspiration.

Welcome to our mid-month inspiration for CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!

This is my card:

The card is made using a Lawn Fawn star-shaped die and I decorated it with a smaller star cut from pink cardstock.
The angel is from our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, and is colored with Copics. The sign is made with a Paper Smooches stamp.
I opted for a pastel pink which matches well with some red touches.

Great cards are waiting for you on the blog, don't forget to have a look!

The little gingerbread is an old digi stamps from Pink Petticoat which I colored with Copics and positioned on tags made with a Lawn Fawn die.

I think they are soo cute!!!

Christmas card Challenge # 30 - Anything Goes.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

A very sunny Sunday morning here, not the right atmosphere to talk about Christmas but we have a super-easy challenge this week for you so no reasons to forget to make our weekly Christmas card!

It's Anything Goes and I decided to make something a bit different:

A Magnet!

Last year I made some cute tags with this adorable owl from Lawn Fawn and I loved the colors so much I had to use them in a different project.
These square magnets which are perfect for Christmas but can be used throughout the year.
Paper is from DCWV and the owl is colored with Copics.
Should have made one for myself too...

Have a look here on the blog to see the wonderful creation from the DT and to see if you're one of the winner from last week's challenges.

Christmas Card Challenge # 16 - Photo Challenge.

Happy Spring!

Although it's not yet 8 o'clock in the morning, the sun shines and it seems it's going to be a beautiful day!

Here we are with a new Christmas Card Challenge and with a new photo inspiration:

In detail: kraft and white ornaments:

This is my card:

I chose a bright green card which I covered with a kraft cardstock with green dots from DCWV.
I then cut two ornaments with a Lawn Fawn dies from a cardstock by First Edition and added tiny rhinestones around the sentiment.

Although it's not my typical kind of card it's been funny to make it!

Have a look here on the challenge blog to see if you are a winner from last week and to check the beautiful cards from the DT.

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop. Please, contact me if you are interested.

I already have a Father's Day card with giraffes (you can see it here) but I couldn't resist to this Mommy and Baby Giraffe digi stamp from Drawn with Character.

I colored with Copics and used a paper from Lawn Fawn as background, together with lots of butterlies.
They are sweet, aren't they?

Bugaboo 6th Birthday Bash - Day 5.

Here I am again today for a new card for Bugaboo 6th Birthday Bash Challenge!

Day 5 is about humor:

and this is my card:

This snake is another digi I bought for these challenges. Even if I don't like snakes, this one was far too funny to leave it in the shop!
I added mustaches to make it even funnier and added a sentiment from Technique Tuesday.
Clouds are made with a Taylored Expression die.
The striped paper is from a pad I found in a local store while the yellow paper is from Lawn Fawn.

This is the only way I can like snakes!

Christmas Card Challenge # 19 - Travel.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we chose travel as the theme for our creations:

We want to see anything travel-related: a sleigh or a reindeer or a car...

I chose a car:

It's from an old set from Pink Petticoat and is colored with Copics. The banner is from Paper Smooches (Streamers) and the background paper is from Lawn Fawn.

This theme is surely a favourite of mine and I can't wait to see your creations!

No Monsters This Time!

I 've just finished a new card using one of Your Next Stamp stamps but this time it's not about monsters!

I chose Merry Mouse Candle and made a Christmas card following the sketch for Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge # 9, this one:

I was so sad I didn't have my card ready for challenge # 8, I had entered every single challenge so far!
But I'm happy I'm here for this new challenge.

My Merry Mouse was colored with Copics and mounted on a red card using a Lawn Fawn striped paper as background.
I love the fact that it's so clean and simple!

This week we have an Inspiration Challenge I'm sure you'll adore!

A Penguin!
I love penguins!

This is my card:

This week I had no doubt on what image I wanted to use: it's Penguin's Presents, a digi from Meljen's Designs I've had for a while waiting to be colored and assembled on a card.
The background paper is from a Lawn Fawn paper pad (Peace Joy Love) and the sentiment is from the same pad.

Penguins seem to have inspired our DT, have a look here to see their great cards or check their blogs:

Something Shabby.

Today I want to show you something shabby.
Inspired by this week's challenge theme over at Crafts and Me (I won a fabulous prize last week!), I decided to make a card using some typically shabby elements.
I love shabby chic style, especially when it's about roses, pale pinks and greens, distressed furniture and romantic details.

With the help of an adorable stamp from Lawn Fawn - Sew Lovely, I made this card:

I used a paper doily, a satin and a crocheted ribbon, some buttons, some fabrics and an organza rose: everything shabby!
The dress form is stamped with black ink and the dress is made with paper piecing.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps Challenge # 57: Bingo (ribbon/lace-flowers-sentiment)
Craft Your Passion Challenge # 164: Natural Materials (cotton fabric and ribbon)

Another Challenging Challenge.

You know, I'm happy when a challenge challenges me in new ways.
This time I had to create a patterned paper with stamps, which sounds interesting since papers are difficult to find here (unless you order them from somewhere) and not so cheap (plus shipping costs...).
I had an idea in my mind of colors and theme and I had a go.

Here's the card:
I had just received a new set of Lawn Fawn stamps and I was looking forward to using them. I made my patterned paper using a dusty pink ink and the flower stamp of the Sew Lovely set on a grey paper.
I had already stamped the dress form on white paper and the dress only on a patterned paper (another "new" thing for me) and I wanted to keep this grey-pink color scheme.
I was lucky enough to find the perfect pink tone for the ribbon in my stash and a metal charm which is perfect for the theme.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Lawnscaping Challenge # 7 which says "make your own patterned paper with stamps",
Papertake Weekly Challenge which says "Anything Goes"
and
Sir Stampalot April Challenge which says "Ladies and Fashion"

I have another challenging challenge waiting for me and this time it'll be even more difficult...

Something Different for Something New!

Today I've something different to show you and I'm very excited because I managed to create something different, experimenting something new and I was a bit afraid but I did it!

The reason for this change is that I've discovered a new challenge, an Italian challenge, and the request was to create something stamped but not a card.
And I have a set of fabulous stamps I bought last year which I love but which were still in my stash unused.

Here's what I created:
A small little manilla notebook!
I stamped this adorable typewriter from Lawn Fawn directly on the cover and I was so worried I could stamp it wrongly! Then I added some black and silver paints here and there, glued the letters and the rhinestone heart. I embellished it with a lovely ribbon and a button. I also tried to add some shadow around the right side of the typewriter by scrubbing some distress ink: I kept my brush light, I was too afraid to ruin everything!

Being not a card, this project will be entered in Timbroscrapmania Challenge # 19 which says "No Cards".

Having used a Lawn Fawn Stamp, I'm also entering it in the Lawnscaping Challenge # 3 which says "All About Love".

They are both new Challenges for me and I'm thrilled to add them to my list!
