CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for August

I've jus noticed my last post was exactly one month ago... It seems I'm very lazy this summer, I should start making more cards.
Christmas is coming and I'm so behind my usual number of new Christmas cards!

Anyway, here's my project for this month, using bits of patterned papers:

I missed my favourite monster so I decided it was time to create something new with it.
It's in a stamp set from Your Next Stamp and I still LOVE it after so many years!

Papers are leftovers from different brands and monsters are colored with Copics.
A magnet on the back and... voilĂ  the cutest fridge magnets ever!

My teamies have created wonderful projects: you can see them all here on the blog.

Hope to be back sooner than September 15... in the meantime, have a great summer!

I'm Back with my Monster!

Today I've had some time to create a new card for the latest Your Next Stamp Challenge using my fav stamp again!

This is the sketch to follow:

And this is the color combination:

This time I wanted to use both the sketch and the colors and this is my card:

I stamped some little monsters with Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender ink to create the backgorund, then one little monster in black. She's colored with Copics and adhered with pop dots because I wanted her to pop out of the card.
She's from the Silly Monsters 2 set of stamps from Your Next Stamp.
I always love her!

A Monster Wedding.

On Sunday I attended a lovely wedding.
One of my high-school mates decided it was time to say yes and I was lucky enough to be one of her guests.

It was a lovely wedding, very simple yet very emotional.
The bride and groom were perfect, the sun was shining and we all really enjoyed it very, very much.

Yesterday, I was having a look at Your Next Stamp Challenge blog and all of a sudden I had an idea: I could turn my beloved monsters into a bride and a groom.
No, not that they remind me of my friends but the sketch was perfect for what came to my mind.

This is the sketch:

And this is my card:

They are Silly Monsters 2 from Your Next Stamp colored with just a touch of Copics for I wanted her to be white as if she was wearing a wedding dress.
I added a little bow tie to make him more elegant.

I always love these monsters!

No Monsters This Time!

I 've just finished a new card using one of Your Next Stamp stamps but this time it's not about monsters!

I chose Merry Mouse Candle and made a Christmas card following the sketch for Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge # 9, this one:

I was so sad I didn't have my card ready for challenge # 8, I had entered every single challenge so far!
But I'm happy I'm here for this new challenge.

My Merry Mouse was colored with Copics and mounted on a red card using a Lawn Fawn striped paper as background.
I love the fact that it's so clean and simple!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 300.

The other day I came across the new special challenge at Cupcake Inspirations and I decided I had to create something for them.
It's their 300th challenge and they have three different themes for us to create with so I decided to find some time to create three different cards.

Yesterday, I made the first one.
The theme I followed was colors, these ones:

Chartreuse + White + Pool which I used in this mini card:

I headed for my sweet Silly Monsters 2 from Your Next Stamp, colored with Copics and mounted on an embossed paper.
I always enjoy creating with these little monsters!

Again...!

* * This is my second post today. Please, scroll down to read my post for C.R.A.F.T. Challenges * *

While waiting for colors to dry on a plaque I was painting for a customer, I had some time to make a card inspired by Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.

It's a color challenge inspired by gorgeous cupcakes:

Pink, white and black!
I LOVE them together, very elegant yet bright and cheery!

I immediately reached for my DCWV pad (All Dressed Up) which has exactly what I needed for this challenge: black, white and pink cardstocks!

And I made this:

Again...
I used my fav stamp ever from the Silly Monsters 2 stamp set available at Your Next Stamp.
I colored her in pink and black with a super gorgeous glittered bow!

I'd like she could be real!

My Monsters... Again!

Yes, I have a new card with my beloved Silly Monsters from Your Next Stamp!

This fortnight Your next Stamp Challenge has this sketch:

which I translated into this:

My monsters are colored with Copics as usual. Then, I cut their hands and switched their positions so they seem they're having a great fun in the sea!
While struggling with snow it was healthy to think about sunny days at the seaside!

There's also a color challenge, just in case you prefer...

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Skating in the Snow.

Just a super-quick post today to show you a card I made this morning.

The inspiration came from the new challenge at Your Next Stamp.
My card for challenge 0# 3 (here) was chosen as the Top Pick! I'm really honored and I couldn't miss the new challenge!
This week the sketch is without circles:

And this is my version of the sketch:

She is Mini Sketing Fun Fhiona colored with Copics and positioned on two patterned papers by Toga France. The fence... well, I made it myself.
I changed the position of the sentiment, I hope this can be accepted in the challenge!

Tis card is for the following challenges:

Santa and Reindeers.

In between assignements, I've found some time to make a card for Your Next Stamp Challenge.

A few weeks ago I won a challenge and I ordered some stamps which I've used for my card.

But let's start with the theme. I chose to follow the sketch:

and I've made this mini card:

I've used Santa's List and Mini Believe in the Magic Reindeer. I've colored them with Copics and mounted them with foam pads so they "pop-up" from the card.

So, this card is for the following challenges:

My Sweet Monsters... Again!

* * This is my second post today, please scroll down to see my card for this week's Christmas Card Challenge * *

Well, yes... here I am again with my little monsters!

Yesterday I saw the new challenge over at Your Next Stamp and I immediately started my card.
Unfortunately, it was dark when I finished so I had to wait today for the picture.

This is the sketch to follow:

And this is my card:

I LOVE to keep these monsters in my hands!

They are part of the Silly Monsters 2 set of stamps and they are colored with Copics and mounted on a paper from Klouise Digtal Art on Etsy (clouds). The dotted paper was a piece of scrap paper.

For the moment, this set is the only I have from Your Next Stamp but... I won Challenge # 1 so I'll soon have some more sets to play with!!! It's been a great surprise!

My Little Monster... again!

I must confess... I'm still creating with my new cute little monster from Your Next Stamp.
Actually, I finished only a little gift for my mom to thank her for the wonderful lunch she prepared for us today and, for the rest, there are lots of monsters on my table, lots of ideas jotted down but nothing finished...

Except this one:

She is part of the Silly Monsters 2 set of stamps while the cupcakes are from Papermania.

As I told you here on my previous post, I love the sketch over at Your Next Stamp Challenge blog and I think I'll use it again in the future:

Today, I thought about a lucky birthday monster dreaming on yummy cupcakes...

Well, really little time left... I should have worked on custom orders but I needed some time to create with something which made me smile!

I've It in my Hands at Last!

A while ago I fell in love with a little stamp.

Every time I switched on the computer, I had a look at it in the shop. Then, one day, I bought it.
And now I can hold it in my hands!

I don't know why I fall in love with certain images, they speak to me and I always think about making somemthing for my mum, for, I know, she'd love it too!

This morning I had some time to make a card and this cute little monster is now on my desk next to the computer smiling at me!

Let's start with the card:

She is (it's a she, of course) one of the little monters of the Silly Monsters 2 stamp set from Your Next Stamp and, to make my card, I followed the sketch of Your Next Stamp Challenge # 1:

(I chose to follow the sketch but there's also a Color Challenge if you prefer, all details here).

I had various ideas in mind, this sketch is absolutely lovely and I think I'll use it again in the future, but I finally chose to make a Christmas card, coloring my little monster with red and glitter.

I've made a mini card, a size I love even if I know it's impossible to post, I think it's perfect to accompany a gift or a bunch of flowers.

Well, it's time to go back to my orders, not before to lin it to:
