CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for November.

Good morning and welcome to a new CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!

November already... it's still quite warm here so I cannot believe October is over and summer so far away!

Here's my card for this month:

I decided to use this super cute princess from Melonheadz and to mount her on a very simple dotted paper I had in my stash. It's pink and it's perfect for a princess!

Have a look at all the beautiful cards from my teamies, you can find them all here on the blog!

CraftHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for October.

Welcome October! And welcome to our new CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!

For this challenge I created something useful, a notebook perfect for the many lists we usually make:

I bought this lovely girl digi stamp from Time for Tea Designs because I thought she was perfect to decorate the cover of a notebook. Isn't she lovely?

Have a look on the blog to be inspired by all the creations of our wonderful DT! I can't wait to see what you create this month!

CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for September.

Ohh... I can't believe summer is almost gone... September means back to school, cooler weather and return to the usual routine.

Anyways... here I am with a new card for CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge:

This cute school girl is a digi stamp from Digistamp Boutique and I thought she fits perfectly this month main event: back to school.
There are still a couple of weeks to go before the start but school is in the air...
I colored her with my Copics and used papers from DCWV.

She looks so happy and proud with her new backpack and lunch in her hands... I guess my daughter will be less happy...

Have a look here to see the beautiful cards our DT has made for this new challenge!
And I can't wait to see yours!

CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for August

I've jus noticed my last post was exactly one month ago... It seems I'm very lazy this summer, I should start making more cards.
Christmas is coming and I'm so behind my usual number of new Christmas cards!

Anyway, here's my project for this month, using bits of patterned papers:

I missed my favourite monster so I decided it was time to create something new with it.
It's in a stamp set from Your Next Stamp and I still LOVE it after so many years!

Papers are leftovers from different brands and monsters are colored with Copics.
A magnet on the back and... voilĂ  the cutest fridge magnets ever!

My teamies have created wonderful projects: you can see them all here on the blog.

Hope to be back sooner than September 15... in the meantime, have a great summer!

Happy Summer!

It seems summer is finally here! It's sunny, it's warm and days are long!

A few days ago I was inspired by the challenge over at Creative Inspirations and made this card:

The theme is "Here Comes the Sun" and I thought this little girl from Pollycraft (available through C.C. Designs) was perfect: she makes me think about sunny days at the park!

I hope you like it as much as I do!

Hello December and welcome to a new CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!

Before we go any further, we have some sad news for you: this monthly challenge blog is closing, so this is the last challenge here. You can ready all about this decision here on the blog.

This is my card:

I chose Knobby Knees Christmas - Sack from our super-sweet sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.
Papers are from Dovecraft.

CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for October.

A couple of months and we'll be surrounded by decorations and Christmas songs... I LOVE Christmas but I'm not ready for winter yet...

Anyways, here's my card for this month:

I chose Shopping Girls digi stamp from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps with the idea to turn these girls into friends doing their Christmas shopping.
The background paper (from Toga) is a Christmas one but unfortunately the gingerbreads are all covered by either the image or the sentiment so it doesn't seem too Christmas-sy...
I loved the colors I chose so I decided to keep the paper and finish the card.

Have a look here on the blog to see the other cards made by the DT.

Can't wait to see what you create!

April!
One of my favourite months! Not only beacuse it's spring, because it's warmer and beacuse it passes by quite quickly with lots of holidays but because my birthday is in April!

This is my card:

I chose DeDe Christmas Drink from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps (sorry, they are moving the shop and it seemes that this digi has not yet been listed).

CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for September.

Welcome September!
I love fall but I'm not sure I'm ready to see summer go, it's been a hot, lovely summer and I'm a bit sad to say goodbye to lazy days, craft projects and time with my daughter.

Anyway, it's time for a new CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!
Here's my card:

I've chosen something a bit different this time: Skelekinz - Present (from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps). It's not a Christmas stamp but I loved her face and thought it was funny to use her in a Christmas card, maybe good for a teeneager.
I've opted for unusual colors too: black for the background and purple for the gift.
I love this girl, she makes me smile!

If you entered our August challenge, you can find winners here.
And don't forget to check the wonderful card my teamies created for this challenge: they are all here on the blog!

I'm collecting freebies from AliciaBel for a while now and I even treated myself with some of their cute images but I've never had the time to make something with them.

This week it was the perfect theme for their Faery Lollipop digi.
I colored her with Copics and lots of glitter and used a paper from Papermania as background. I also added rhinestones for some more bling!
