CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for September.

Welcome September!
I love fall but I'm not sure I'm ready to see summer go, it's been a hot, lovely summer and I'm a bit sad to say goodbye to lazy days, craft projects and time with my daughter.

Anyway, it's time for a new CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!
Here's my card:

I've chosen something a bit different this time: Skelekinz - Present (from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps). It's not a Christmas stamp but I loved her face and thought it was funny to use her in a Christmas card, maybe good for a teeneager.
I've opted for unusual colors too: black for the background and purple for the gift.
I love this girl, she makes me smile!

If you entered our August challenge, you can find winners here.
And don't forget to check the wonderful card my teamies created for this challenge: they are all here on the blog!

Christmas Card Challenge # 38 - Anything Goes.

Welcome to our Christmas Card Challenge!

We have Anything Goes this week!

I again opted for some tags:

I found these glittery pink tags and these sledge die cuts in my stash and decided to use them together.
I punched some presents and added them on top of the sledge.
Pink, gold, glitter and... presents! Perfect for Christmas!

If you entered last week's challenge, check winner and Top 3 here on our
challenge blog where you'll find some inspiration too!

Christmas Card Challenge # 19 - Presents.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we have a lovely theme for you:

Presents! I LOVE presents!

This is my card:

This little angel has lots of presents!!!
It's a stamp from Sweet November, Emaline's Gifts, which I colored with Copics and mounted on a small card covered with a paper found in a magazine. The sign and snowflakes were also in the magazine.

I loved this card so much that I made a birthday version of the card with a background paper from Melissa Frances:

* * This is my second post today. Please scroll down for my GDT card for CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for November * *

Welcome to a new Christmas Cards Challenge!
This week we have fabulous colors to inspire you:

In detail:

This is my card:

I'm so happy to share my very first card with one of My Favorite Things stamps: Santa's Elves! They are from Birdie Brown, one of my favorite designers: I loved her digi stamps, her stamps from There She Goes and now I've finally one of her MFT stamps!
I'm also a fan of elves and I enjoyed myself so much coloring and making this card!

Can't wait to use the other elves in the collection...

Christmas Cards Challenge # 41 - Anything Goes.

It's Anything Goes again here at Christmas Cards Challenge!

This is my card:

This sweet cat is My Gift! from Whiff of Joy. Colors are a bit unusual for a Christmas card (papers should be from DCWV or maybe First Edition) but I found that this black was not too bad.

Have a look at waht my teamies have done this week:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 294 - Christmas.

It's Christmas again here at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

Have you already packed your Christmas papers and embellishments away?
Well, take them out and play with us!

This is my card:

This sweet penguin is from Scrapper's Delight (Penguin Willie's Gift) colored with Copics and mounted on papers from First Edition.
I wanted a change from the usual Christmas colors and opted for these mix of orange, light blue and pink.
Well, I'm not too convinced that orange and pink can work together but they were there on the striped paper so I had a go.

If you want to start your Christmas 2015 cards early, have a look at our Challenge blog and be inspired by the beauties made by the team.
Scrapper's Delight is our sponsor this week, don't miss the oppurtunity to win some of their adorable images!

This week we have an Inspiration Challenge I'm sure you'll adore!

A Penguin!
I love penguins!

This is my card:

This week I had no doubt on what image I wanted to use: it's Penguin's Presents, a digi from Meljen's Designs I've had for a while waiting to be colored and assembled on a card.
The background paper is from a Lawn Fawn paper pad (Peace Joy Love) and the sentiment is from the same pad.

Penguins seem to have inspired our DT, have a look here to see their great cards or check their blogs:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 289 - Sketch.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we have a sketch for you:

and I made these cards:

The gift is one of the digis in the Jingle Christmas Tree set of stamps from Pickled Potpourri.
I wanted to make something different from a Christmas card and the gift was perfect to make some birthday cards too. Perfect!

I colored the images with my Copics and lots of glitter in the dots, while background papers are from DCWV.

Pickled Potpourri is one of our generous sponsors this week so have a look at the sketch and start creating!

Just for you.

In creating this card I created an ideal man, too.

A man who gives you the perfect gifts: bags and chocolate!

Well, for me it should have been bags and bags but I love chocolate too!

This is the card:

He is Mr. Knickerbocker Doesn't Know from Eat Cake Graphics but this time he knows!

The bag stamp is from Stampin' Up and the cup of chocolate from Studio G.

I LOVE him! (and his bag...).

Christmas Card Challenge # 23 - No Embellishments

Happy Sunday!

Are you ready for a new Christmas Card Challenge?

This week we don't want to see any kind of embellishment on your card. Not easy for me who loves to add rhinestones and pearls on cards!

 I made this card:

I chose a lovely Christmas tree digi stamp from Broken Box Stock and I decided to duplicate gifts and add them around the tree.
A Christmas tree full of gifts is always a great thing to see, right?

Since I'm a bit late with my post this morning I've just had the chance to see the cards made by my teamies!

Christmas Card Challenge # 21 - Ho, Ho, Ho!

Happy Easter Sunday!
And welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we want you to use something Santa related: a Santa image, reindeer or a sleigh.

I've chosen a very cheerful Santa for my card:

I bought this lovely digi stamp from Cuddly Buddly back in January during the sales and I'm so happy to have finally made a card!
The digi is Holly Jolly Santa from Christine Grove: I've used my Copics and papers from the Merry & Bright Collection from Cartabella.

If you need some inspiration, have a look at the other creations from the DT:
Margo

I wish you all the best on theis Easter Sunday and I look forward to seeing your Santa related creations!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 255 - Sketch

Good morning and welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we have a sketch for you:

This is my take:

I've used the adorable Princess Jennifer Latte "Shopping in the City" digi stamp from The Stamping Boutique and made a new Christmas card!
I adore the poor guy carrying all those bags and boxes! It's a secret dream to have so many shopping bags!

The Stamping Boutique is one of the great sponsors of this week's challenge so you won't miss the opportunity to win some of their fab stamps!

Christmas Card Challenge # 2: Color Challenge

Welcome to week # 2 at Christmas Card Challenges and today it's all about Black and White!

From what I heard from some of my team mates it's not so easy to work with black and white only, although I had no problem and managed to make a pretty little card:

I was looking through my stash of printed/stamped images when I found this cute mouse, a freebie from Wee Stamps. I printed the star paper from a collection by Pink Petticoat, added some black touches here and there and colored my little mouse with greys and black. I needed a touch of color and I chose red for a couple of details.

Since I didn't have time to have a look at the cards my fellow DT made for this challenge, let's all have a look at them here or look at their blogs:

Bows.

This week I've had a great fun making my card for Christmas Card Challenges.
The theme is "Bows" and I decided to use Piper from By Lori Designs. My first idea was to put her over a ribbon with a big bow making a simple card but then I realized that she had a present with her and decided to stamp lots of presents in different sizes which meant... lots of bows!

Here's my card:

I kep the big bow and the simple layout I had in mind by using only one patterned paper as background.
I wish I had all those gifts under my Christmas tree!

Don't forget to have a look at the wonderful bows my fellow DT have used for their cards:

Big Gifts!

When I saw this little baby with this huge present from Bugaboo Stamps I thought about my nephew, they have the same happy face. And, of course, I had to buy it.
3+ years later, I managed to make a card with it, with a boy in mind, a simple layout and bright colors.

Here's my card:
I've loved to use such a bright green card with yellow details which remind me of summer now that days are fresher and shorter, school is starting and lazy days are gone.

This card is for the following challenges:

Happy Holidays! At Broken Box Stock

A GREAT new challenge at Broken Box Stock: Happy Holidays!

We all need Christmas cards so why don't create one for this challenge?

As a DT member this month I created two cards, it was difficult to choose just one so I sent both!

This is the first one I made a while ago:

I used a new easel card I had just bought and added these sweet little shops all dressed up for Christmas which you can find here. It's a freebie so hurry up and create the sweetest Christmas card!
Mine is light blue and shops are colored with Copics and, of course, glitter!

After having made this card, I received a new Toodle and... bang! I had a crush!

She is Gifts Toodle and exists as digi and in a colored version. I love her! All those gifts and bags, the pretty dress, her tights and, of course, her earrings!
I printed a giant version of the Toodle (the beauty of the digi stamps... being able to make any size you want!) and colored her with Copics and glitter. I decided to use two non-Christmas papers from my favourite Doodlebug collection: Sweet Cakes: these colors are perfect for Christmas too!
This bright and cheerful card makes me happy in these gloomy and very non-Italian days: it's been raining heavy for a long while, my daughter's school is partially flooded and... well, somewhere else in Italy conditions are even worse. Let's pray for them all this will be a happy Christmas despite all the difficulties.
