CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for December.

Here we are! December! I LOVE you!!!

Yes... although I don't like cold weather and dark days, I love December with Christmas lights everywhere, family time ahead, gifts to think about and cards to write.

This year I haven't made as many Christmas cards as in the past few years, I think I needed a break from intensive card making but I've managed to make one for CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge:

I borrowed the stamp from a friend and used a paper from First Edition and one I found in a magazine to create this sweet scene.

Don't forget to check the cards from our DT: you can find them all here!

I wish you all the best for this holiday season (just in case I don't manage to write again before Christmas) and for a wonderful 2019!

CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for November.

Good morning!

My card for today has a super-cute dog on it:

I chose Winter Puppy Dog from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.

The background paper is actually a birthday paper from a local shop but I thought it had perfect colors for a Christmas card, especially if paired with this gorgeous glittered cardstock from DCWV.
A few more crystal stars around added a special touch.

As usual I suggest that you have a look at all the lovely creations from the team! You can find tons of inspiration here on the blog.
Can't wait to see what you create!

Christmas Card Challenge # 50 - Anything Goes.

Welcome to a new Anything Goes Challenge here at Christmas Card Challenges!

This is my card:

Since I am busy with custom orders, I didn't have much time to work on cards this week so I decided to make one suitable for both our challenge and Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge.

This super-cute dog is the digi I received for entering their October Challenge: it's Naughty Puppy and you can find it in Gerda Steiner Designs shop.

I colored it with Copics and glitter while the background paper is from a kit I found years ago in a local shop.

Well, this is officially the last challenge of the year. From next week we will start a new term with new DT members, new challenges and some changes.

Welcome to a new Christmas Cards Challenge!

The theme this week is Anything Goes and this is my card:

This adorable dog is Odd Dog - Mug of Tea from  Lili of the Valley.
I had just bought this cutie and I wanted to use it immediately so I used red and green to make it more Christmassy. Background papers are from My Mind's Eye.

We have COLORS for you this week here at Christmas Card Challenges!

In detail:

And this is my creation:

I had these lovely black tags from Toga and I thought they were perfect for this little dog from Pennyblack (one of my first rubber stamps!!).
I used just a couple of greys for the dog and added holly Leaves to make it more Christmassy.
I love them!

2 Cute Ink Challenge # 123 - Color Theme: Brown, Green and Blue.

I'm a bit behind schedule with my posts but I've been struggling with both Blogger and Etsy in these past few days.

Anyway, here I am with my card for the new challenge at 2 Cute Ink.
The theme is a color scheme: Brown, Green and Blue!

This is my card:

He is the a-do-ra-ble Pitbull Pup available in 2 Cute Ink shop on Etsy.
I colored him with Copics and mounted him on brown and green cardstock matching the bandana.
The card is more light blue than green, even if it seems definitely as green as the bandana!

We can't wait to see what you create with these great colors!
And don't forget to check our challenge blog for more inspiration and to see the winners of challenge # 122!

Not Just Card Challenge # 11.

Good morning!

It's Monday again... a new week and a new start...

Are you ready for a new challenge at Not Just Cards?
As usual it's Anything Goes and we have great sponsors and great prizes for you!

I was so inspired by our sponsors' images that I made two projects for this challenge!

The first one:

This sign has been made using Dog from Stitchy Bear Stamps and an old paper I had in my stash.

Then, I fell in love with two cute pandas and I couldn't help but using them for this mini card:

They are one of the stamps available in the Panda Valentine Stamp Set and they are sooo sweet, aren't they?

If I had to choose just one project well, I couldn't do that! I LOVE them both!

Have a look here to see the fab projects made by our DT and to check if you're one of last week winners!

Christmas Card Challenges # 48 - Anything Goes.

It's Anything Goes here at Christmas Card Challenges!

In a couple of months Christmas will already be over so it's time to start making those necessary Christmas Cards or projects, just in case you haven't started yet!

Today I have something different to show you:

I haven't made a card but I've made a cute shopping list notepad with a sweet girl .
She is Shopping Spree from Di's Digistamps: I love her coat and, of course, her little dog!

The Challenge is already live, I'm a bit late this morning since Summer Time ended last night and I enjoyed an additional hour in bed!
I checked my teamies projects and they are all wonderful and inspiring.
Check them here or on their personal blogs:

I Love This Card!

Today I'm happy to show you one of my favourite cards for this year:

I made it a while ago using Paddling in the Canoe, a super cute stamp by Eat Cake Graphics.
This time I imagined a boy paddling at night under a starry sky and a big moon.

I regret I have only a few scraps left of the starry paper so I don't think I can duplicate thi card... I'll probably keep it for myself for a little while...

Hi There!

I'm here today to show you a new card I've made for Eat Cake Graphics.

It's one of my small cards. I love tiny stamps with which I can make mini cards and Callie was just perfect!

This is my card:

This stamp is Callie's Looking Down and you can find it in Eat Cake Graphics shop. It's perfect alone, in a mini card like this, or to make a bigger scene with another stamp.
By the way... have you checked the new stamps available in the shop? You can find them all here in the What's New section.
I ordered mine and I can't wait to ink them up!

Beware of the Dog!

Good morning!

I've another little plaque to share with you today:

I had already made a couple of plaques using Tarzan the cat from Eat Cake Graphics back in March (you can read my post here) and I wanted to make a couple of them with a dog.

I chose Callie's Looking Down: not that it's a dog to be afraid of but it looks so nice that I had to have it!

Isn't it cute? I imagine it's looking at some bones!

You can find Callie in several stamps here in Eat Cake Graphics shop.

Are We There yet?

Good morning!

At this time of the year we all think about holidays (well, I actually think about them quite often throughout the year...) and, for my latest card made with Eat Cake Graphics stamps, holidays were the inspiration.

And children too... when they ask: "Are We There Yet?"

This little car with a mouse driving and a dog looking out of the window is one of my favourite stamps from Eat Cake Graphics: they are Lewis and Trudy's Wild Ride (the name itself makes me smile!).
For the background, I used some trees of the Lake Shoreline stamp.
They are both colored with Copics and mounted with 3D dots on an old card blank.
They are sooo cute!

You can find both stamps in Eat Cake Graphics shop:

Happy Summer!

Although it's been a cold and rainy week, more like autumn than full summer, I managed to create a card inspired by our past vacations at the lake.

I took this picture in one of the few moments of sun and, even if I know it's not a proper one, I love the way the sun rays hit it.

I've used a couple of stamps from Eat Cake GraphicsPaddling in the Canoe and Lake Shoreline.
I mounted them on a light blue card from DCWV, made some white dots with acrylic paint and cut some stripes of cardstock to resemble water.
It's not one of my typical cards but I love how it turned out!

What a Cute Dog!

Today, I'd like to show you a card I've made "just for pleasure" and which was inspired by All Dressed Up Challenge # 9.

There is this sketch to follow:

And I've made this card:

This super-cute dog is a freebie from All Dressed Up and I enjoyed myself in coloring it with just a few Copics.
Then, I chose bright patterned papers with yellows and oranges to match the color I of the bow.

It's so cute!

I Love Spots!

As most of my readers probably know, I'm a fan of spots (or dots... I still haven't understood the difference...) so this week's challenge at Mo's Digital Challenge was perfect for me and for another new digi I bought in January!

This is my card:
She is "Skating" from Mo's Digital Pencil, colored with Copics and lots of glitter. Papers are both from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright paper pad, the button is a recent find at my local craft shop.
I love this light blue/green with red! So fresh and clean! And, most of all... I love that little dog!

This card is for the following challenges:

New Paths.

I don't know why but recently I've been attracted by stamps featuring travels.

Is it the new year that inspires me to do something new somewhere new?
Or maybe because I've just heard that some friends are probably moving to China for work in the near future?
Or simply because I love to travel?

The fact is that, when I saw this stamp a little before Christmas, I fell in love with it.

In between DT cards, Christmas decorations to put away and house chores, I've managed to finish a card:

Isn't she cute? And what about the little dog?
This is a digi stamp from A Random Fan called Travel Bug: it's a shop I've just discovered and I simply fell in love with their images! I've had a great fun coloring this little girl: I wanted to be bolder while coloring the car but then I decided to go for a more stylish grey.
All supplies for this card are new and they were all on my table: papers are from a new pad I've found in an English papercraft magazine which I've just bought, buttons are an incredible finding in a nearby shop I made yesterday!

I often thinks of those friends of ours who are probably moving to China. If this happened to me, what would be my reaction? Scare? Enthusiasm? Would I be able to see all the opportunities to live for a while in such a different Country or would I see the risks only?
Sometimes I'd love to have the chance to change my life completely, sometimes I'm grateful my life is not changing so drastically...

Well, let's go back to my little girl and her car.
