Framed.

It's been a while since I found some time to make a card for a challenge and not for a DT request.

I saw the challenge over at Sami Stamps and I thought it was perfect for my new Sami Stamp digi: the theme is "Frame It" and, with the help of my photo stamps from The Alley Way I made this card:

He is the cutest of guys, isn't he? This digi stamp is Warm Sand colored with Copics and the background paper is from Simple Stories. The sentiment in the arrow is from a stamp set I found in a magazine.

Schools started yesterday here so we are definitely back into the winter routine and summer is just a memory. Time really flies in the summer!

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Christmas Card Challenge # 39 - Anything Goes.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

We have Anything Goes again this week!

And this is my card:

I wanted to try a new technique this week: watercolors for the background. I must say I'm quite happy with the result although the paper I chose didn't remain flat and the card did not end up as I had in mind!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 311 - Bloghop Birthday!

Happy Birthday To Us
Happy Birthday To Us
Happy Birthday Dear CRAFT Challenge
Happy Birthday To Us!

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 6 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.
We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.
We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.
So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?
Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?
We all feature one of our sponsors for this blog hop on our blogs and I have the honour of featuring and offering a prize from the following sponsor. You can win this prize by adding your name to Inlinkz at the end of this post. I would love to see your comments as well.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

Again, I've something holiday related to show you today. In fact, the theme of our challenge is given by this:

Be inspired by this camping scene!
I've never camped in my life but I bet that, so close to nature, there's time for a little mom-daughter time sitting on the grass:

This digi stamp is from Sami Stamps and is called Sunshine Love.I colored it with Copics and used a paper from Echo Park (Country Drive).

I'm really looking forward some time to hold my daughter sitting somewhere among the flowers!

Have a look here at our challenge blog to discover the fabulous sponsors for this week (Sami Stamps is one of them) and be inspired by our creations!

Good morning!
I'm ready to show you my latest creation for Christmas Card Challenges!

Inspired by buttons, twine and pastel colors I made this card:

I've had this lovely digi stamp for a while and time has come to use it.
It is called Christmas Together and is available in Sami Stamps shop.
I used my Copics and a background paper from the Gingerbread Lane paper pad.
Then, I added a ribbon and... three... not just one but three buttons! It's Always so hard to use my precious buttons!

Christmas Card Challenges # 15 - CAS

Happy Sunday and welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we want to see your CAS - Clean and Simple - cards!

This is mine:

I've used Ornament Kitty from Sami Stamps. For a change, I decided to use non-traditional Christmas colors and to avoid glitter. Spring is just around the corner, I needed some fresh and delicate hues!

I've just seen the wonderful creations of my teamies, have a look at their blogs to be inspired!

Glitter.

My most affectionate readers know how much I love glitter and that it's pretty rare to see one of my cards or projects without at least a touch of glitter!
You can easily understand why I was happy when I saw the challenge theme at Sami Stamps Challenge: use glitter somewhere on your project!

I chose a digi stamp from one of their latest releases: it is called "On Your Arm" and is avavilable in Sami Stamps Shop.

This is my card:
I flipped the image because I wanted space for the sentiment on the right of the card (the magic of digi stamps!) and glittered the whole dress of the bride: she's so elegant!
The paper is an old one from Best Creations (yes, I'm trying to use my old 12"x12" papers... I'm lazy and I always reach for the more practical paper pads...). The three rhinestones were suggested by my daughter!

This card is for the following challenges:
