This is my card:

 

I reached for my beloved Eat Cake Stamps and chose Sleigh Ride: I love coloring it and positioning it on a house background. I made a similar card a couple of years ago and this time I chose a paper from The Little Yellow Bicycle.

Little Bags for Your Easter Treats.

Here I am again with a creation for Easter.

 

It's not a card but something quite different:

 

 

I found these mini plastic bags in a local shop and their colors inspired me to decorate them with an Easter theme.

I reached for my Flopsy Bunny stamp from Eat Cake Graphics and colored the eggs matching the bag.

I also added a girly ribbon tied in a bow and decorated with a tiny button.

 

Colors are probably my favourite together!

Easter is Just Around the Corner.

A request from a customer made me realize that Easter arrives early this year and that maybe it's time to make Easter cards!

I made this card last year, when I was in Eat Cake Graphics DT and I noticed that I have not blogged about it yet!

 

This lovely bunny is Flopsy Bunny available in Eat Cake Graphics shop. Papers are from October Afternoon.

And I decided to make something different: ornaments:

 

I had these red felt circles in my stash (I actually don't know what they were meant to be...) and I decided to turn them into little ornaments adding a patterned paper on the back, a sentiment and a little owl painted with Copics.

You should be familiar with this owl: it's Mr. Who from Eat Cake Graphics.

To a Very Special Daughter.

She is Willow and Her Forest Friends and I chose her because she reminds me of my daughter who used to sit down surrounded by her teddy bears and teddy rabbits while reading tales.

Winter Wishes.

I have another small card to show you today with one of Eat Cake Graphics stamps:

 

 

I wanted to go gold this time, a color I rarely choose. Back in october I found a paper pad by First Edition (Gilded Winter) and I decided it was something I needed in my Christmas papers stash.

I eventually had the chance to use it together with Light Post in Winter rubber stamp and a stripe of gold glittered tape.

 

Lamp posts are something I adore, possibly in a Christmas scene with carolers around singing songs... They remind me of Victorian Christmases in a London street with horse carriages and snow...

Mr. Who Just for You!

It's time to show you a cute little Thank You/Just for You notecard I've recently made with my Mr. Who stamp from Eat Cake Graphics:

 

 

These are mini-mini cards, perfect for a bunch of flowers or a little gift, just to say thank you to someone you care for.

Colored with Copics. they were quick and easy to make.

Christmas will be here in one week... I can't believe it, time flies too fast!

 

I have another Christmas card to show you today:

 

 

It is one of the new stamps recently released by Eat Cake Graphics: it is called Christmas Row (and you can find it here in Eat Cake Graphics shop).

I had already made a card with the Trick or Treat Boxes (you can read my post here) which is quite similar to this one and I enjoyed myself so much creating my card that I had to have the Christmas version too!

I stamped it twice and cut some details to add them with 3D dots to have a dimensional effect.

I kept the rest of my card quite simple, the image is so beautifully detailed it doesn't need anything else!

To a Special Grandma.

Hello!

Here I am today with another new creation for Eat Cake Graphics.

 

This time I chose the super-sweet and super-funny Kitty Cuddles likes Gran's Hat and made this:

 

 

One of my small cards with a vintage feeling.

Or at least this is what motivated my choices for the bakground paper (from DCWV) and for the color of granny's dress.

When I chose this stamp I didn't notice there was a bird on the hat, the reason why Kitty is trying to reach for it!

I LOVE these little details in Eat Cake stamps!

I'm so sorry I have no grandmas to send this card to!

Hello again!

This time for a little tag, this one:

 

 

I found these tags + envelopes last summer and I looked forward to creating something with them.

 

This stamp from Eat Cake Graphics was perfect to create a small scene.

 

It's Mary and Mr. Meow at the Window (there's also a window with a boy here) colored with Copics and mounted on a piece of adhesive fabric.

I used leftovers on the envelope, embellishing it with rhinestones, a paper heart and Tiny Tweet, a little bird wearing ear muffs.

 

Isn't it a lovely scene?!

Santa's Tractor.

In my whole life I had never thought about Santa on a tractor.

Maybe because I'm a girl, for me tractors are good for country life only.

 

This was true until I discovered a stamp from Eat Cake Graphics: Santa Riding John Reindeere Tractor. I saw it and I was in love!

 

This is my card:

 

 

The best part came while coloring it: it's so rich in details, like the smoke coming our in the shape of candy canes, the little tag on the present, the holly in front of the tractor.

 

I love coloring and here I really had a great fun! And then I added glitter, glitter and more glitter!

Colors and glitter, my fav things!

 

I also added Tiny Tweet (wearing ear muffs), the cute little bird looking the scene. And it seems the girl next to the dog is looking at it!

 

I added lots of light brown snowflakes on the background paper and, of course, some pearls.

A bit late today with my post...

 

I've a new card to show you with Eat Cake Graphics stamps, one card with perfect colors for me: pink, pink, pink and some red!

 

 

They are the sweet couple from the Main Squeeze stamp, I've already made a card with them and yes, I adore this couple!

The other card had colors more suitable to an aged couple (you can read all about it here), I had fun imagining them in their sitting room.

This time I wanted hearts, pinks and reds, a card that says LOVE!

Papers are from Doodlebug, probably my fav papers ever! And of course, I colored them with my Copic markers.

Here I am again today to show you another card I've recently made:

 

 

He is Mr. Knickerbocker Doesn't Know again (you probably remember him from this card) and this time I opted for a common theme for men: sorry, I forgot... a birthday? An anniversary? Well, I think men always forget something...

 

He is from Eat Cake Graphics and I love him! I love his hair and his clothes too!

 

I chose an aperture card and a paper from Cosmo Cricket (Tea for two paper pad): I think it gives the idea of a vintage wallpaper, the one you can see in your granparents' house.

For the rest, this card is pretty simple, perfect for a man who has something to be forgotten...

I'm happy to show you a new Christmas card:

 

 

A sweet scene of kids on a sleigh among houses and snow...

 

Although weather is miserable here, we have rain and rain and rain, it's not too cold for November and both winter and snow seem quite far away.

I enjoyed myself making this card and imagining how happy and excited these kids (and the dog) should be!

 

For this card I used Sleigh Ride from Eat Cake Graphics, colored with Copics and positioned on a patterned paper from the Eskimo Kisses collection (Basic Grey).

Tomorros is Halloween and I have a new card to show you:

 

This is probably one of my favourite Halloween cards for this year, I enjoyed myself very much adding the pop-up squares.

 

This stamp is Trick or Treat Boxes from Eat Cake Graphics. As usual, I used my Copics and an old Halloween paper I found in my stash.

Watching from the Window.

Good morning!

 

Today I have a new Christmas card to show you:

 

 

When I chose this stamp from Eat Cake Graphics I started imaging what the little girl could be watching from the window at Christmas.

I then found this paper from My Little Shoebox and... that's what she was looking at!

 

She is Mary and Mr. Meow at Window (and there's is also a version with Billy and Sparky at Window in case you prefer boys and dogs) and you can find her here in Eat Cake Graphics shop, both mounted and unmounted.

Spooky Halloween.

As I always write at this time of the year, Halloween is not a tradition of ours here in Italy.

When I was a kid, it was something that Charlie Brown was waiting for at night among the pumpkins.

My daughter and her friends live Halloween as it has always been in our tradition. It's normal to go trick or treating and to wait for friends to collect candies.

Things change quickly...

 

As a cardmaker, I have to deal with Halloween and sometimes I make cards.

It's something I don't really feel inside but it's funny to create cards and things with this theme.

 

Today, I have a spooky card to show you:

 

 

This card is made with some old scraps of papers and a lovely stamp from Eat Cake Graphics: it's called Pumpkin Patch Ohhhh...! and is available mounted and unmounted, like all the stamps from Eat Cake Graphics.

I loved the idea that the pumpkins were scared by the bats flying around!

I also made another version of the card with a fall theme, I'll blog about it soon!
