Christmas Card Challenge # 2 - Inspiration Photo.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

We have an inspiration photo for you this week:

Carolers!

My readers know that carolers are one of my favourite themes for Christmas. I chose these sweets kids caroling in the snow for my card:

It's an old digi stamp from Jellypark which I hadn't used yet so this was the perfect reason to print and color it!
Background paper is from DCWV.

This is also my first card for Christmas 2017!
(As most of the cards I showacse here, this is for sale. I won't be listing any new Christmas card for this year, but if you are interested don't hesitate to contact me).

Thank you to all those who entered our last challenge, your cards were a pleasure to look at!
If you want to see winners, check them here.

Our next Christmas Card Challenge will be on Jan. 1 so I wish you all a very happy Christmas!

A Happy Day at the Beach.

Well, despite the title I haven't spent a day at the beach recently.
The weather is awful this spring and too cold for the beach.
But I've created another card inspired by my longing for summer and warm weather:

This adorable digi stamp is Beach Hut Belle from Jellypark.

I colored her with Copics and mounted the hut over the aperture of a light blue card. Behind the aperture I glued a patchwork paper from Toga and some embellies, just to make everything very girly and cute!

Ohhh! How I'd love to be watching the sea from my beach hut!

Pop It Up!

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and this week the theme is Dimension.

I love to add dimension to my cards, usually using 3D dots and this time I've used dots in various thickness to make my elves pop up in different ways,

This is my card:
I've used just one digi (a cute Christmas Elf by Jellypark): I printed it in different sizes and colored the elves using the same palette of classic Christmas colors and, of course, touches of glitter here and there. And I couldn't help but adding lots of rhinestones to make the card sparkle!

Let's have a look at what the other DT have created this week:

If you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, be inspired by our creations and let's go to work! Christmas is only 51 days away!

A Button Challenge

I love buttons.

I have tons of them in tiny acrylic boxes, in bigger glass jars... I kept the ones I found in my grandmothers' cupboards when they passed away, I save them from clothes I throw away...

And it's difficult for me to part with most of them.

That's why I rarely enter a challenge with buttons as theme... but this week I've made an exception with this card:

The image is a lovely digi stamp from Jellypark which I colored with Copics and glitter and mounted on a pink cardstock panel with a punched border.
These mice are so sweet, aren't they?

Wish BIG!

Just a quick post today to show you my latest card:

Yesterday, I had a look at Jellypark Challenges and the theme was too funny to let the challenge go without creating a card for it!

I had this free image from the Jellypark store which was perfect! (And sooo cute!).

I made a light blue textured card and used a patterned paper from DCWV. The digi is colored with Copics and glitter and the orange I used for the apron inspired me for the orange cardstock stripe I glued behind the mouse and the orange satin rose.
The super-funny sentiment was from There She Goes clear stamps and it was so appropriate for this image!!!

Pinkoctober at Jellypark!

The other day, while browsing my favourite blogs, I discovered Jellypark Challenges. I already knew their digi stamps and I decided I had to enter a card.

The theme is PINK and I bought a digi stamp both my daughter and I liked. The proceedings of the sale of this digi help to raise money for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer and I loved the idea to help such a great cause.

I made this card:
I've used the Breakthrough Breast Cancer song in your heart digi stamp colored with Copics and glitter. it comes with this lovely sentiment so it was easy to finish the card using a patterned paper from the Neighbourwood Collection, a satin ribbon and some pearls.
