CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for September.

Ohh... I can't believe summer is almost gone... September means back to school, cooler weather and return to the usual routine.

Anyways... here I am with a new card for CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge:

This cute school girl is a digi stamp from Digistamp Boutique and I thought she fits perfectly this month main event: back to school.
There are still a couple of weeks to go before the start but school is in the air...
I colored her with my Copics and used papers from DCWV.

She looks so happy and proud with her new backpack and lunch in her hands... I guess my daughter will be less happy...

And I can't wait to see yours!

Sweet Owls.

Hello!

Spring is full of occasions to send cards and one of the most important is Mother's Day.
My mom loves receiving cards and every time I make a card for Mother's day, I think of her.

Today, I'd like to show you one of my latest cards:

I've had this digi from the Merlin and Blinky set from DigiStamps Boutique for ages. I've finally found some time to make a very simple card, not too big so it's perfect to be added to a bunch of flowers or to a chocolate box.

Aren't they sweet?

Love You.

Good morning!

I have a new card to show you today, one I made "just because" a while ago but never found the time to blog about it.

One of my new year resolutions is to blog about - and list in my Etsy shop - all the cards, tags, journal cards etc. I've made recently but which have never "seen the light".

I start today with this cute little Valentine card:

The image is from DigiStamp Boutique and is called Love You Buffy.
I love the acqua/green background with the red butterflies!

This little card will be available in my shop later today.
New cards and tags and journal cards and... lots of new things are coming, stay tuned!

Christmas Card Challenge # 12 - Trees.

Good morning!
It's Sunday again and this means a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges!
This week we want to see TREES! Perfect for every Christmas card!

I've decided to make tiny cards with tiny trees:
The image is from DigiStamp Boutique and it's one of the six lovely digis in the Simply for Christmas set.
I colored the trees with my Copic markers and mounted them on little colorful cards. A ribbon and a button and voilĂ ! They are so cute!

Please, have a look at all the fabulous cards from the DT... you'll surely be inspired!

Christmas Card Challenge # 8 - One Layer Card

Welcone back to Christmas Card Challenges!

This week we want to see Christmas cards with only one layer. Easy, isn't it?

This is my card:

I've used the fabulous Holly Tree by DigiStamp Boutique: I simply printed it on white cardstock, colored it with Copics, added tons of red stickles glue on the berries and lots of green rhinestones here and there.
There is also the Mistletoe Tree with which I've made a light green version of this card, but I'll show you another time!

Music! At Christmas Card Challenges

This week I've had great fun in creating my card for Christmas Card Challenges.
The theme is Music and, while looking through my stamps to find a proper image, I've come across Music Lucy from DigiStamp Boutique, a digi I bought a long ago and never used.

My challenge was to transform an everyday image into a Christmas one, a modern-looking girl into a girl suitable for a vintage-looking card.

I started with the papers: I've found the music paper in the Lost & Found Christmas paper pad from My Mind's Eye and matched it with another paper in the same collection.
Then I colored Lucy using the most "vintage" colors I had among my Copics and added a few details.

Here's my card:
I really love how it's turned out and, even if Lucy is still a modern-looking girl, she is at her ease in a vintage-looking card!

As usual, have a look at my teammates' cards, they always do a great job:
Sabrina

Well, Christmas is fast approaching but I should have made 30+ Christmas cards so far! Maybe I'll be able to make at least 50 by the end of November!

I'm entering this card into DigiStamp Boutique September Customer Competition.

Snowmen.

Are you ready for another Christmas Card Challenge?

This week the theme is "Snowmen" and this is my card:
I wanted to create a clean and simple card and I used my very last turquoise card on which I attached the panel with this lovely DigiStamp Boutique image. I colored it with Copics and glitter and add just a few buttons. It's turned out exactly as I had in mind!

Have a look at what the team has created for this challenge:

Punches...

As you probably know, I love to make tags. For this reason, some years ago I bought a tag punch to make things easier.
I actually love to make tags in different sizes so I often find myself cutting them with scissors but the new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges was the perfect starting point to make my old punch into good use.

Last week I bought a new paper for my Copic markers and I wanted to try it.
Even if it's quite thick, it worked perfectly in my printer and I managed to create these lovely tags:
I may seem a little boring, since I used this image from DigiStamp Boutique only a few weeks ago for a card, but I love it so much that I wnated to make something else with it.
They are Cute Nativity Kids and I loved the fact that I could print, punch and color my tags without effort!

Don't miss my fellow DT members' creations, have a look at their blogs:

It's Sketch Time at Christmas Card Challenges!

This week challenge at Christmas Card Challenges is to be inspired by this sketch:

Isn't it lovely with its clean and simple lines?

I made this card:

Since for my card I wanted a color matching perfectly the background paper, I had to use a square card. The paper is from First Edition while the digi stamp is from DigiStamp Boutique. I colored it with Copics and mounted it on a red cardstock. I was inspired by the red dots on the paper for my red accents.

I cannot wait to see the creations of my fellow DT members, there are always such elegant cards!

Little Elves.

Here I am again with another project for next Christmas!
Not a card this time but some tags!

Inspired by the challenge theme at ABC Christmas Challenge: Holiday Helpers, I've decided to use a cute image from DigiStamp Boutique and I've made this:

I cut my tags from green textured cardstock, added a piece of glittered cardstock from The Christmas Joy Paper Pad from First Edition, decorated it with some red ric-rac, added two rhinestones and a little heart.
I've had a great fun in decorating the elf with glitter and a pom pom on his hat.

This tag is for the following challenges:
