Gerda Steiner February Challenge.

Happy Sunday!

I'm here today with my card for Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge:

These super-cute bunnies were sent to all those who took part in their January Challenge and I must confess I've fallen in love with them!

Instead of making a love or Valentine card, I opted for a birthday-themed card using papers I found in a local shop. I digged in my drawers for hours because I remembered I had a paper with red tulips which matched perfectly the tulip of the image and it was worth the search!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Chipboard Crazy - Part 3.

A new week and a new card made with those chipboard embellishments I decided to put in good use!
(You can read part 1 & 2 here and here).

This time it's a more romantic card, with a lovely pink typewriter and some resin roses:

The part I prefer while making these cards is to choose matching papers and layer them on the card base. I also love adding embellishments and little details!

This card is for sale in my shop, please contact me if you are interested.

Chipboard Crazy - Part 2.

Hello!
Welcome to a new post featuring one of the cards I've recently made while trying to destash some of my chipboard embellishments (you can read about week 1 here).

This week I have a fresh spring-y card to show you:

I've had great fun adding some details, like the tiny buttons and bicycle-shaped clip.
These colors together are just perfect! I love them!

Butterflies and Birthday.

I've been noticing that I often add butterflies to my cards.

Whether it's a children card or a more grown-up one, butterflies always help me adding little details and bring in lots of cheer.

I've found a digi stamp in my archive which has a girl and butterflies all in one image!
I couldn't keep myself from making a new card!

She's Butterfly Toodle from Broken Box Stock, colored with Copics and mounted on a background paper from Bella Blvd.
I couldn't add any additional butterfly around my toodle but I had plenty of space near the bow to add two die cuts I found in my stash!

A girly spring-y birthday!

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop. If you are interested but cannot find it, please convo me and I'll be happy to help!

Hello There!

I'm surrounded by unfinished projects... I'd like to make all the things I have in mind but (luckily?) custom orders force me to leave them aside and work on something else.

At least, I managed to finish one of the projects I had been working on recently.
I've tried to make some sneak peeks on Instagram of the coloring and creating process. Being a newbie, I wanted to learn a bit more about the way Instagram works and, thanks to my daughter, I've also found a way to add some details to my pics.

Anyway, here's my project:

These sweet gnomes are from MFT stamps and I've had them for a little while so time has come to make something out of them.
I've found these little signs/magnets in my stash and yes, they are perfect for the gnomes!

I covered each sign with a bright patterned paper from October Afternoon, I colored the gnomes with my Copics and assembled everything adding a small wording and, of course, two tiny pearls.

I love them! They talk about spring and garden time!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Melonheadz Friends Challenge: Include an Animal (the little snail)
The ABC Challenge: C is for Cute

These magnets are for sale in my Etsy shop. If you can't locate them, please ask!

A Happy Little Chick.

Today I have a bright and happy card to show you, one that makes me happy every time I look at it!

This cute little chick is Dancing Spring Chick from Drawn with Character, colored with Copics and mounted on a background paper from Pink Petticoat.
I added lots of butterflies which make this chick even happier and an elegant ribbon decorated with a tiny button.

I opted for an Easter sentiment, but this card is perfect for many occasions: Mother's Day, Birthday, Thinking of You, Thank You and many more.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

This card will be available in my Etsy shop later today. If you are interested and cannot find it, please contact me!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 314 - Color.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we have a color combo for you:

In detail:

And this is my card:

I decided to turn this Spring Chicken from Pickled Potpourri into a parrot.
I sincerely don't know if it can be similar to a parrot but I find it very elegant in green.
Papers are from Kaiserkraft and October Afternoon and the chicken now parrot is colored with Copics. The sentiment is from an old stamp from There She Goes.

We can't wait to see what you create with these colors!
Have a look here for more inspiration and to see if you're a winner from last week's challenge!

Welcome to the third and last card for the Cupcake Inspirations Celebrations!

This time the theme is "Sparkle":

I made this:

I used a super-shiny paper from First Edition (Spring Drop) and added lost of glitter to the spots in the egg.
The image is Chick on Egg which I purchased last year from Gerda Steiner Designs: I adore this little chick painting the egg!

I'm happy I've found the time to make the three cards for this challenge!

Bright and full of energy!

And I used them in this card:

She is the adorable Spring Bird - Summer Dress, I think one of my first Bugaboo Stamps!
I used a background paper from Best Creations and added rhinestones here and there.

Hi There!

I'm here today to show you a new card I've made for Eat Cake Graphics.

It's one of my small cards. I love tiny stamps with which I can make mini cards and Callie was just perfect!

This is my card:

This stamp is Callie's Looking Down and you can find it in Eat Cake Graphics shop. It's perfect alone, in a mini card like this, or to make a bigger scene with another stamp.
By the way... have you checked the new stamps available in the shop? You can find them all here in the What's New section.
I ordered mine and I can't wait to ink them up!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 253 - Recycle/World Earth Day

I'm sorry I'm a bit late with my post for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge but my computer decided to stop working after 10 years and I've been without it for the whole week!

Anyway, now I'm back on track and there's still plenty of time to enter this week's challenge.
The theme is Recycling/World Earth Day.

I chose to celebrate the Earth because the image I had seemed perfect for this idea:

I chose the sweet Lisbeth on a Swing from MilkCoffee and used a paper by Miss Tiina.

My teamies went for the recycling theme so have a look at their blog and be inspired to recycle!
And, of course, don't forget to look at the fabulous prizes we have this week!

A Birthday Challenge.

The other day I was reading Purple Onion Designs blog and I found out that they are having a challenge.

The theme is "Birthday" and I decided to make a card.
I treated myself with a few of their stamps back in January but the biggest ones were all Christmas-themed.
I added two tiny stamps to my order and I wanted to make my card with them

Think, think, think... and I made this:

The stamps are "Sign" and "Star & Sky" from the Stacey Yacula Studio Collection available at Purple Onion Designs. I colored them with my Copics and mounted them on a long card made with an old ivory card front from Lasting Impressions.

I loved the idea that, starting from tiny stamps, I was able to make a big card!

Oh Happy Day!

Just a quick post today as I need a break from a custom order, just to show you one of my latest cards:

She is Sparkler Toodle, another cutie from Broken Box Stock (available here as a black and white digi stamp and here in a Fourth-of-July-inspired colored version).

I thought it was perfect to celebrate a warm weather birthday and I chose pastel colors inspired by spring.
Today it's a sunny and warm day, spring is coming (even if we are still waiting for winter this year...), some exciting projects are waiting for me in the near future and it's Friday so I thought that this card was perfect to celebrate my mood today!

And, of course, I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Pure Poetry.

Some weeks ago I was honoured to win the challenge at A Day for Daisies and I've recently chosen one stamp from their collection (it's pretty hard for me to choose, I love them all!).

The inspiration for my choice came from the challenge they were holding that week but my first attempt to create a card with the image failed miserably. I tried to color it with watercolor pencils, a water brush and a new Japanese watercolor paper but no, it was terrible.
Last week I tried with my Copics and the result... well, it's much better:

In the meantime, the challenge has changed and the theme is now Add Green.
With this lovely girl among the cutest animals (the digi stamp is called Snow Drop and you can find it in A Day for Daisies shop) it was easy to add some green. Papers are from the Miss Nelly paper pad (Kaisercrafts) and I find them just perfect.
I added tiny light blue dots around the image which seems to be disappeared in the photo!
Isn't this image pure poetry?

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers...

It's time for Challenge # 24 at Broken Box Stock and the theme is FLOWERS!
Perfect for spring!

This is my card:

I've used a sweet little girl digi stamp called Thanks a Bunch (available here in black & white and here colored) which I printed on a big piece of paper which I glued on a cream cardstock. The green border matches the satin ribbon and the little cloud perfectly!
I wanted the card to be fresh and spring-y so I colored the dress in bright yellows and oranges with matching socks and shoes.
To have more flowers on my card, I added a little yellow rose in the bow and a chipboard flower in the cloud.
I love its simple layout!

Don't forget to have a look at the challenge rules here where you can also find great inspiration from my fellow DT!
