Bee Strong!

Good afternoon!

I'm here today to show you a new card:

I received this super strong Bee as I entered Gerda Steiner February Challenge.
Every month I find myself anxiuosly waiting for the new image coming in my inbox, I LOVE them all!
Spring is in the air so it was a pleasure to work with these bright happy colors!

Background papers are from Echo Park and American Crafts, I then added the bee colored with Copics and some tiny yellow pearls.

I LOVE it!

Lovely Little Bees.

Happy afternoon!

Today, I'd like to share a new project I've just finished:

My readers probably know that I LOVE making tags and these ones were no exception!
I found this little bee stamp in a magazine a while ago and these tags were in my To-Do List.
I'm so happy and I've had a great fun making them!
Perfect to be added to a little gift or a bunch of flowers!

TSG Challenge # 152: Cards for Dad

Good morning!

I'm here with another card I made yesterday for There She Goes Challenge # 152: Cards for Dad.

I read about this challenge on Monday but I knew that I had no "male" stamps in my There She Goes stash so I sadly thought about waiting for next Monday.

Then, an idea came to my mind: THE BEES! I have this lovely stamp set with bees illustrated by Torico and I decided I could use them to make a father's Day card!

I wanted it to be clean and simple, no papers or embellishments, just a dad and his baby flying around the card:

Easy to make and simple enough for every man!

Tags!

Last month, while buried under snow, I took out my stash of unused stamps and decided I had to do something with them.

Some of them are very tiny and, although I love them, I found it difficult to put them into good use. I thought about making some tags, "tiny tags".
I made some samples and I loved both the creative process and the final results.

When I saw this week's theme at There She Goes Challenge # 146 I thought I could make some tiny tags with one of their stamps I bought last month.

And here's what I've created:
What I love most of these tiny tags is seeing them altogether!

I decided to use the Bee Happy stamp set: I took some ready made white tags with strings, I added some light green patterned paper as grass, I stamped the flower stem with green ink and glued the flowers and the bees, which I had colored with Copics, with 3D dots so they pop out of the tag.
Unfortunately, these tags are quite small and I couldn't use the sentiments in the set, so I decided to print some "with love" sentiments, cut them as a little flags and glued them to the tags.

Enjoy your week-end!
