CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for May - Mid-Month Inspiration.

Welcome to our mid-month inspiration for CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra!

This is my card:

The card is made using a Lawn Fawn star-shaped die and I decorated it with a smaller star cut from pink cardstock.
The angel is from our sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, and is colored with Copics. The sign is made with a Paper Smooches stamp.
I opted for a pastel pink which matches well with some red touches.

Great cards are waiting for you on the blog, don't forget to have a look!

Sweet Little Heart Tags.

Good morning!

I'm here today to show you some new tags I've just finished:

These cute girls and angels are from Dearie Dolls and I thought they were perfect to be used in some metallic heart tags I had in my stash.

I've colored them with Copics and made different tags for various occasions: Get Well, Thank You and I Love You, perfect to be added to a bunch of flowers or a chocolate box!

In detail:

They'll be soon in my shop if you are interested.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we have a lovely theme for you:

Presents! I LOVE presents!

This is my card:

This little angel has lots of presents!!!
It's a stamp from Sweet November, Emaline's Gifts, which I colored with Copics and mounted on a small card covered with a paper found in a magazine. The sign and snowflakes were also in the magazine.

I loved this card so much that I made a birthday version of the card with a background paper from Melissa Frances:

September!

Where has this summer gone?
I can't believe we are in September.
School is starting in a couple of weeks, family vacation is over, lovely long hot sunny days are behind us...
Although autumn is my favourite season, I'm a bit sad when summer is over.

I must confess that in August I treated myself with some new stamps. Most of them being rubber, they are still somewhere across the ocean.
A couple of them being digis, I could use one to make the card for this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. The theme is Something New and this is my card:

This lovely angel stamp is from Just Some Lines and, maybe for the first time, I've used a background paper with a scene on it. It's from the Christmas Fancy paper pad from Dovecraft and I simply added stars and a ribbon with bow.

Isn't she lovely?

Inspiration Saturdays: Quick & Easy Tags

HAPPY SATURDAY!

Here I am ready to inspire you with something quick and easy.

We all need some tags on hand to add a special message to a gift or bunch of flowers and today I'll show you how to make them in a very quick way.

Colored digis are particularly useful to make quick projects.
I'm not a fan of pre-colored digis because I like to color and I think it is the best part of my creative moments, but sometimes I must admit they are very useful.

First, when you are in a hurry.
Second, when you print small images.

Today, I've decided to make some pretty tags.

First, I copied the tag shapes on a white embossed paper and cut them:

I inked the edges with a color matching my colored digi:

I printed my digis on a piece of cardstock and cut them:

I finally made some halos using some gold wire and a pencil:

I then gathered all my supplies in pretty containers, I added rhinestones, ribbons and sentiments:

And that's how they turned out:
Aren't they cute? And super quick!
In half an hour you can make a batch of them and have them ready every time you need to add a special touch to a thank you gift or bunch of flowers or cookies or...

This lovely angel is available in Broken Box Stock shop: she is Angel Toodle, available here in color and here as a black and white digi stamp.

I'm entering my tags into the following challenges:
