CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge for January.

Happy New Year!

I'm happy to announce that I'm now part of CraftyHazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge Design Team!

It'll be a great change from my usual Christmas cards... new challenges for the new year!

This is my card for this month:

My patterned paper is from Doodlebug, an old Valentine collection which I still love with its pinks and reds!

The digi stamp is from Pink Petticoat colored with Copics and glitter.

I thought that this sentiment could be a good wish for a 2018 full of love for everyone!

Have a look here on the challenge blog to see the Amazing cards from the DT! I can't wait to see what you create with patterned papers!

Christmas Card Challenge # 14 - Silver & Red.

It's Sunday and this means a new Christmas Card Challenge!

We have a great theme for you this week: colors!

Silver & Red!

I made these tags:

The tiny houses are from a stamp set from Sakuralala: I colored them with Copics and glitter and used some tags as backgrounds. A glittery washi tape added the silver touch.

My teamies have made great cards this week: have a look at all of them here!

Christmas Card Challenge # 10 - Inspiration Photo.

We have an inspiration photo for you today:

A super-sweet gingerbread house!

Which I translated into this card:

I've had this rubber stamp for ages so I'm happy to use it at last! I used my watercolor pencils instead of Copics this time and added lots of glitter.
Background paper is from a magazine and the Merry Christmas sign is from a local shop.

As usual, we have lots of inspiration for you on the blog!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 321 - Wish You Were Here.

It's time for a new challenge here at C.R.A.F.T. Challenges!

This week we go sentimental and we want to see cards or projects with a "Wish You Were Here" theme.

I thought about vacations and this is my card:

This lovely Cabin in the Woods is from Robyn's Fetish. I used an old background paper from Docraft and, of course, my Copics.

Have a look here to see what my teamies have created for this week!

Welcome to a new Not Just Cards Challenge!

As usual, it's Anything Goes.

This is my creation:

They are part of the super-cute Daniel's Sweetheart set from DeeDee Digis, colored with Copics and mounted on a chipboard plaque covered with a paper from Papermania.
The banner is made with a Paper Smooches stamp.
I love their little feet with boots!

Great News!

* * This is my 2nd post today, please scroll down to read all about this week's C.R.A.F.T. Challenge * *

I have exciting news to share with you!
I've been accepted in Eat Cake Graphics Design Team!

I already had some stamps from Eat Cake Graphics so I could start working immediately with their sweet little images. I love them all especially kids and cats!

In fact, my first project is about cats:

This very very sweet cat is Tarzan and you can find it here in Eat Cake Graphics shop.

It was easy to color, cut and mount on a chipboard plaque covered with patterned paper.
Isn't it sweet?

I'd like to enter my cat plaques into the following challenges:
Party Time Tuesday Challenge # 164: Party Animals
Crafty Calender March Challenge: Animal Antics
The Shabby Tea Room Challenge # 210: Anything Goes

What Fun!

I've just finished a card I can't wait to share with you.
I saw a sketch and I immediately had an idea for a card which I've just finished!

This is the sketch:
The challenge is the new January Challenge at Whimsie Doodles!
Although I have several of their digi stamps, I don't remember if I've ever entered one of their challenges.
This sketch is so lovely and funny!

This is my card:

(I'm sorry for the horrible picture but it's a rainy day here and it's also getting dark so I couldn't do anything better...).
I've used "Have a Seat" collection of digi stamps: I've had them for ages but I hadn't had any occasion to use them. This was THE perfect card to put them into good use.
(You can find the entire collection here in Whimsie Doodles shop).
I colored them with my Copics and decoupaged some details. Card base is from Die Cut with a View.
Ribbons and a key charm have been added to decorate the card.
I didn't know I was feeling sketchy before having a look at this fantastic sketch!

I want to enter the following challenges:

Christmas Card Challenge # 30 (Christmas 2013 - Card # 14)

* * This is my 2nd post today, please scroll down to see my new card for the Kraftin' Kimmie Contest * *

I'm so excited to be here for my first Christmas Card Challenge as a DT member!

This week the theme is an Inspiration Photo, this one:

How lovely and inspiring is this door?

I definitely needed inspiration this week because, after a wet and cold spring, we've reached the 40°C in a couple of days and it's not the most suitable weather to make Christmas card.
Luckily enough, I love when it's so hot and I don't suffer from it but I must admit that my studio is very very hot, especially when I don't manage to keep the window open because it's so windy everything flies away!

Anyway, as soon as I saw the picture I thought about a digi stamp I've had for a while and made this card:

The digi is from Deidre's Store on Etsy (it seems not to be available at the moment) and I colored it with Copics trying to follow the photo as much as possible.

Don't forget to have a look at all the fabulous cards of my fellow DT members:

184 days to Christmas and 14 cards are made (I'm still behind schedule!)

If I had a pretty house, I'd certainly love to have a whimsical illustration on my wall!

Happy Holidays! At Broken Box Stock

A GREAT new challenge at Broken Box Stock: Happy Holidays!

We all need Christmas cards so why don't create one for this challenge?

As a DT member this month I created two cards, it was difficult to choose just one so I sent both!

This is the first one I made a while ago:

I used a new easel card I had just bought and added these sweet little shops all dressed up for Christmas which you can find here. It's a freebie so hurry up and create the sweetest Christmas card!
Mine is light blue and shops are colored with Copics and, of course, glitter!

After having made this card, I received a new Toodle and... bang! I had a crush!

She is Gifts Toodle and exists as digi and in a colored version. I love her! All those gifts and bags, the pretty dress, her tights and, of course, her earrings!
I printed a giant version of the Toodle (the beauty of the digi stamps... being able to make any size you want!) and colored her with Copics and glitter. I decided to use two non-Christmas papers from my favourite Doodlebug collection: Sweet Cakes: these colors are perfect for Christmas too!
This bright and cheerful card makes me happy in these gloomy and very non-Italian days: it's been raining heavy for a long while, my daughter's school is partially flooded and... well, somewhere else in Italy conditions are even worse. Let's pray for them all this will be a happy Christmas despite all the difficulties.

Back to the challenge now! Here are the rules:
