Christmas Card Challenge # 43 - Christmas Cakes.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

 

We have an inspiration photo for you today:

 

 

In detail: Christmas Cakes!

 

I was more inspired by the theme than by the photo and made this card:

 

Aren't they lovely? My daughter and I try to make a new cake or type of cookie every week so this card is inspired by the two of us.

 

These adorable digi stamp is Baked with Love from 2CuteInk: I used my Copics to color it and a paper background from Papermania.

The lollipop is made with a stamp from Purple Onion while the sentiment is from a stamp kit I found in a magazine.

CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for October.

October already?

 

It seems that my posts for CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra always take me by surprise.

Weather is still warm here and I cannot believe it's October which usually means shorter days and heavier clothes.

 

Anyway, a new month means a new Christmas card! Here's the one for October:

 

 

I chose Elf Candy Cane from our super-sponsor Bugaboo Stamps and added papers from American Crafts. The sentiment card is from Jillibean Soup.

 

I've had great fun while preparing this  card, this elf is sooo cute!

Chipboard Crazy - Part 11.

Here I am again for another card in my "Chipboard Crazy" series, the cards I've made so far with tons of chipboard embellishments I found in my stash while sorting a drawer.

 

This is the 11th:

 

 

I opted for a more autumn feel, with a handmade jam jar and falling leaves.

I do love summer with its hot long sunny days and, of course, vacations but my favorite season is fall (if it doesn't rain all the time!) with its warm colors and that special light.

I colored this Santa but I had no inspiration for a card so I decided to make a Christmas planner and it turned out great!

 

The image is colored with Copics while the background paper is from Toga.

Today I'm happy to show you my card with this month image from Gerda Steiner Designs: it's Parachute Piggy which I had for free since I participated in the August Challenge.

 

Here's my card for the September challenge:

 

 

This adorable piggy digi stamp was perfect for my new paper from Bella Blvd: I colored it with Copics and positioned it with 3D dots. I then added cloud diecuts (Toga France and Taylored Expressions) and a funny sentiment (MFT).

For my mini card I chose an elf from MFT and a background paper from First Edition. The tree is stamped on a paper from the same pad.

Mid-September means one thing in my town: schools start.

 

And this means the very end of summer laziness, of days to fill with new projects and adventures, of mornings starting at 10 (well, my days start much earlier but I keep quiet until my daughter is ready to wake up).
