Christmas Card Challenge # 38 - Embossing

Happy Sunday!

We have a new challenge for your this week at Christmas Card Challenges: Embossing, Wet or Dry!

I love dry embossing as much as I hate wet embossing!
Of course, I opted for dry embossing even if, to tell you the truth, I didn't take out my embossing tool but one of my papers with embossed snowflakes... yes, I'm a bit lazy!!

This is my card:

I've used the lovely Winter Warmth girl from Time 4 Tea Designs. colored with Copics and a touch of glitter in her fabulous boots! I'd love to have a pair of them!

What About a Little Bite?

I think this is my first Halloween card for this year:

I made it a while ago using Count Bitesalot from Eat Cake Graphics: he is the cutest vampire count you've ever seen, isn't he?

And I LOVE the sentiment: Care to Join Me for a Little Bite? (from Eat Cake Graphics as well).

When I saw them I couldn't resist! Together they are perfect!

You can find both stamps available in Eat Cake Graphics shop both mounted or unmounted.

Christmas Card Challenges # 37 - Color Challenge.

Hello!

It's time for a new Christmas Card Challenge with a great theme this week: colors!

This is the inspirations photo:

Aren't they gorgeous?

This is how I used them:

I chose Santa Baby Diva from Meljen's Designs, I colored her with Copics and added lots of glitter!
Papers are from Wild Rose Studio (Annabelle's Christmas) and Cartabella (Merry & Bright).

I love these cute Divas by Meljen's: although they are totally different from me, I find them adorable!

I didn't have time to check the DT cards this week so I look forward to the challenge going live to see them.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 271 - Well Done / Congratulations.

Good morning!

It's Thursday and it means a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!
This week we ask you to make a card to celebrate a special achievement: the theme is Well Done or Congratulations, the choice is yours.

I opted for the Congratulations sentiment with a little girl in mind.
This is my card:

This cutie is Bubbles Ice Skating from Lacy Sunshine and I imagined to celebrate a success in sports or a special achievement of a little girl.

Tha background paper is from DCWV and the girl is colored with Copics and glitter.

Beware of the Dog!

Good morning!

I've another little plaque to share with you today:

I had already made a couple of plaques using Tarzan the cat from Eat Cake Graphics back in March (you can read my post here) and I wanted to make a couple of them with a dog.

I chose Callie's Looking Down: not that it's a dog to be afraid of but it looks so nice that I had to have it!

Isn't it cute? I imagine it's looking at some bones!

You can find Callie in several stamps here in Eat Cake Graphics shop.

2 Cute Ink Challenge # 112 - Animals.

I'm so excited I can finally share great news with you: I've been accepted in the 2 Cute Ink Stamps Challenge Team!!! Yippie!

I've always loved Heidi's cute images and you may have had the chance to see some of her digis on my cards but now it's official! You'll see them at least twice a month!

Today there's a new challenge and the theme is: ANIMALS!
Heidi has created some super-cute horses which I LOVE! It was so fun to work with it and a pleasure to color with girly girl pinks!

This is my card:

It's called Nerdy Horse and it's part of the Nerdy Horses set (you can find it in 2 Cute Ink shop here). It was perfect for me: my daughter loves horses and loves to read too so I imagined her sitting on the grass reading her favourite books!

Are your ready for the challenge?

You can find the rules here.

Christmas card Challenges # 36 - Embellish It!

We have a great theme to follow this week for our Christmas Card Challenge: Embellishments!!

I LOVE to have reasons to add embellies on my cards!
Well, I actually always add some but if I'm told to do that I'm more than happy!

This week we ask you to use two types of embellishments and I chose two of my fav: buttons and rhinestones!

It's always difficult to part with my buttons, especially my tiny ones but they were perfect for this card and I added them.

The digi is Girl with Lantern from LeeHIllustrations: I colored her with Copics and lots of glitter for the fur in her hat, coat and, of course, boots!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 270 - Wish You Were Here.

Happy Thursday!

This week at C.R.A.F.T. Challenges we ask you to make a card of project for someone far away.

The theme is "Wish You Were Here" and this is my card:

The digi stamp is One of a Kind from Sweet'n Sassy Stamps. I wanted to focus on the image so I printed a big image and kept embellishments to a minimum.
I had just discovered this adhesive lacy border in a shop and I was willing to use it. I think it's perfect for this card!
Then, just a few pearls and rhinestones and my card was ready!

We have great sponsors this week! Check them all here on our challenge page!
You'll also find some great cards to be inspired by!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 269 - Inspiration Picture.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

Again, I've something holiday related to show you today. In fact, the theme of our challenge is given by this:

Be inspired by this camping scene!
I've never camped in my life but I bet that, so close to nature, there's time for a little mom-daughter time sitting on the grass:

This digi stamp is from Sami Stamps and is called Sunshine Love.I colored it with Copics and used a paper from Echo Park (Country Drive).

I'm really looking forward some time to hold my daughter sitting somewhere among the flowers!
