A Button Challenge

I love buttons.

I have tons of them in tiny acrylic boxes, in bigger glass jars... I kept the ones I found in my grandmothers' cupboards when they passed away, I save them from clothes I throw away...

And it's difficult for me to part with most of them.

That's why I rarely enter a challenge with buttons as theme... but this week I've made an exception with this card:

The image is a lovely digi stamp from Jellypark which I colored with Copics and glitter and mounted on a pink cardstock panel with a punched border.
These mice are so sweet, aren't they?

I Love You!

This year I'm definitely inspired by Valentines!

I've just finished another card:
I've used my favorite S.W.A.L.K. stamp and some pink/red papers, the most traditional colors for a Valentine card!
I used this image past for a Christmas cards and I love the fact that, by changing colors, it's perfect for a love card, too!

I've a little time to write right now as I'm waiting for some guests and I want to enter some challenges with this new card:
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 191: Valentine's day or Love
Delicious Doodles Challenge # 20: All You Need Is Love

Wings

Pretty unusual for me, I've just finished a card with fairies:
I don't know why but I'm not a fan of fairies. With a few exceptions (like this one) I never buy stamps with them. When I saw the theme at Tiddly Inks Challenges this week I was a bit worried I wouldn't have been able to enter but then I saw this image and... yes, that was perfect! It's a long while (years) that I have it but, for one reason or another, I've never managed to color it and make a card.
These fairies are so pretty and... oh! How I wish to have them helping me when I put my lights on the Christmas tree!!!

This card is for the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks Challenge # 102: Wings
ABC Christmas Challenge: B for Boys or BOWS
Winter Wonderland Challenge: It Takes Two
Christmas Cards All Year Round January Challenge: Anything Goes

Well, 331 days to Christmas and 3 cards are ready!

Valentines again!

In my valentine madness this year I'm making lots of Valentine cards.

Today I'm showing you one of my favourites:
She's the newly released My Valentine Toodle digi stamp from Broken Box Stock. I colored her with Copics and glitter, then I cut and glued her to a heart-shaped card. A special sentiment, some pearls, two pretty flowers and a super-sweet card is ready!

I'm entering the following Challenges:
Deep Ocean Challenge # 43: Anything but Square

A Valentine Card for Boys

In order to participate in this fortnight's challenge at Sparkle Creations Blog, I've created a Valentine card for boys:

I've used Street Corner Josh from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps which I won last year.
I've used a paper from the Pretty Little Hearts Collection from Pink Petticoat (oh yes, I treated myself with a couple of their digital papers after Christmas and I love them!).
A touch of red and some music notes and the card is done!

This card is for the following Challenges:
Sparkle Creations Challenge # 96: Love Song Challenge
and
Cards Galore Challenge: Anything Goes

A Sketch Challenge

It's been a while since I last entered a card into the There She Goes Challenge so I decided to see this week's theme and make a card.

There's a sketch to follow this week:

And I made this card:
It's cold, rainy and dark outside and I needed something to cheer me up a bit, that's why I opted for these papers with bright colors (sorry, I bought them a long ago on a destash on Etsy and the brand wasn't mentioned).
The elephant is from the Jungle Out There set of clear stamps from There She Goes, a set I love very much with those funny animals! Their size is just perfect for cards and smaller projects!
And, although there's a bit of hot pink, I think that its bright colors make this card suitable both for boys and girls.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Here Come The Boys Challenge # 44: Bingo Board (Blue - Free - Image)

So Pretty!

Isn't she pretty?
I LOVE her!
She's so delighted and happy to be waiting for her baby!
She is Pregnant Toodle from Broken Box Stock and I loved her so much I colored her in three different ways!
Papers are printed from the Pretty Little Hearts Collection from Pink Petticoat and I wanted to keep a simple layout with ribbon and bow, a sweet charm and some rhinestones to give a bit of light!

This card is for the following challenges:
Creative Inspiration Challenge # 198: Anything Goes + optional flowers
(This card was meant to enter their Challenge # 197 but it seems I'm a bit late!)
Stampin' for the Weekend: Something Girlie
Created with Love Challenge # 25: Anything Goes
Inky Chicks Challenge # 2: Becky's Bingo Grid (Sentiment, Image, Bow)

Get Well Soon, again!

I noticed that I missed Get Well Soon cards in my shop so I decided I had to make some more.

After the one I showed you yesterday, I have two more today:

This is Wryn New Wings from Tiddly Inks colored as a brunette.

This is Wryn New Wings from Tiddly Inks colored as a blonde little girl.

I've used unusual colors for me and for such a girlie card: papers are from the Animal Antics paper pad (First Edition Paper) and I added a matching ribbon and a chipboard butterfly.

My card was featured in the last Tiddly Inks Challenge so I wanted to enter another card in their new Challenge which says Anything Goes!

Here's the list of Challenges I'm entering:

Challenge # 18 at Broken Box Stock: Make a Get Well Soon Card!

Another great Challenge at Broken Box Stock!
The theme is Get Well Soon and I made this card:
I couldn't resist to this lovely Toodle in her couch! Too cute!
(You can find Get Well Toodle here as a digi stamp and here in a colored version).

To make the card, I trimmed the front panel of the card with a lovely punch, glued a very old yellow striped paper in the upper part of the card (does it seem wallpaper?), a satin ribbon and finally my poor Toodle colored with Copics.
I must admit... I sometimes wish to catch a little flu just to lay down on the couch like she's doing...

My First Christmas Cards for 2013

Believe it or not, I've just finished a couple of Christmas cards!

I sadly missed a DT call at ABC Christmas Challenge but I'd like to follow each one of their Challenges this year and make a card for every letter!!

The first is A for Animals and I've made not one but TWO cards with animals:
I must admit... I forgot I had bought these lovely images from Pink Petticoat a long time ago and when I rediscovered them, I had to use them immediately!
The papers are also from Pink Petticoat and the doneky and sheep are colored with Copics and glitter and mounted on a white card with a delicate ribbon, a felt snowflakes and... sigh!...two buttons (it's always so difficult to part with my buttons!).
I've made two cards because I liked both images and I couldn't choose only one but they've turned out so pretty that I'm thinking about making a card with every animal of the set!

My card is for the following challenges:
ABC Christmas Challenge: A is for Animals
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 190: Christmas in January

Well, 341 days to next Christmas and two cards are done!
