C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 251 - Inspiration Picture.

Hello and welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we want to inspire you with this picture:

I was inspired to do this:

I chose this sweet "Whale Love" from Sami Stamps surrounded by a blue patterned paper and lots of rhinestones.

Sami Stamps is one of this week's super sponsors, so look at the picture, be inspired by our DT creations and start making your own project!

Pasta.

I LOVE pasta!
I could eat it everyday!
And, since I ate cooking, I often eat pasta with Parmesan cheese only.

When I discovered the "Valentine Punnies" set in Whimsie Doodles shop, I immediately fell in love with the Mac & Cheese image.

I created this:

I thought that they were perfect for a little magnetic notes holder to be kept in the kitchen.
I printed them on heavy paper, colored them with my Copics markers and added an orange ribbon behind.
They are so sweet!

Christmas Card Challenge # 16 - Use Chevrons.

Good morning!
Sunday means a new and exciting Christmas Card Challenge!
This week the theme is... Chevrons!

This is my card:

Again, I wanted to use bright colors for my Christmas card so I chose this lovely paper by Miss Tiina at SugarHill Co. and assembled the card following its colors.
The digi stamp is called "Birght" from Whimsie Doodles: I colored it with Copics and glitter. I then added rhinestones in the corners to give my card a special sparkle.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 250 - Christmas.

It's Thursday! It means it's time for a new C.R.A.F.T Challenge!
The theme is CHRISTMAS!
One of my fav!

And this week I've really had fun creating my card, the image was really cute!

These adorable giraffes come from Karen's Doodles and are called Carolers: it's been quite difficult to choose an image this time, their Christmas digis are all so cute! But you know my love for carolers at Christmas so this is perfect! And what about those boots!
The card it's been simple to make: I've used a dotted card blank and added the image (colored with Copics and glitter) and a few details here and there.

Karen's Doodles is one of the fab sponsors of this week challenge so don't loose your chance to win!

Christmas Card Challenges # 15 - CAS

Happy Sunday and welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we want to see your CAS - Clean and Simple - cards!

This is mine:

I've used Ornament Kitty from Sami Stamps. For a change, I decided to use non-traditional Christmas colors and to avoid glitter. Spring is just around the corner, I needed some fresh and delicate hues!

I've just seen the wonderful creations of my teamies, have a look at their blogs to be inspired!

Oh Happy Day!

Just a quick post today as I need a break from a custom order, just to show you one of my latest cards:

She is Sparkler Toodle, another cutie from Broken Box Stock (available here as a black and white digi stamp and here in a Fourth-of-July-inspired colored version).

I thought it was perfect to celebrate a warm weather birthday and I chose pastel colors inspired by spring.
Today it's a sunny and warm day, spring is coming (even if we are still waiting for winter this year...), some exciting projects are waiting for me in the near future and it's Friday so I thought that this card was perfect to celebrate my mood today!

And, of course, I'd like to enter the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 249 - Mother's Day/Female

It's Thursday again and this means a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!
This week the theme is very sweet: make a card or project for a female or for Mother's Day.

I chose to make a card for Mother's Day with a super cute image from A Day for Daisies:

This adorable digi stamp is Just like Mom Duck and I thought it was perfect (and very sweet) for a Mother's Day card.
I colored the ducks with my Copics and mounted them on papers from the Bunny Love collection from Best Creations.
A Day for Daisies is one of the fabulous sponsors of this week's challenge so let's start working on your projects, we can't wait to see them all!

An Anniversary Card.

Last month I made a Valentine + anniversary card for my husband but...

... my daughter reminded me that I had bought a digi stamp expressly for my husband.

This meant I made another Valentine + anniversary card, this one:

Since he knows my love for Copics and every now and then he buys me some, I thought it was the perfect image for his card.
The digi is Copic Marker Love from Bugaboo while the paper is from Pink Petticoat.
Even if this cute girl is absolutely not like me, I colored her dress pink which is probably my favourite color (well, not for dresses, I usually wear greys and blacks especially in winter!).

The other card? Well, I made two copies of it, one for him and one for the shop: they're actually well hidden away, maybe I'll use it next year!

This card is for the following challenges:

Pure Poetry.

Some weeks ago I was honoured to win the challenge at A Day for Daisies and I've recently chosen one stamp from their collection (it's pretty hard for me to choose, I love them all!).

The inspiration for my choice came from the challenge they were holding that week but my first attempt to create a card with the image failed miserably. I tried to color it with watercolor pencils, a water brush and a new Japanese watercolor paper but no, it was terrible.
Last week I tried with my Copics and the result... well, it's much better:

In the meantime, the challenge has changed and the theme is now Add Green.
With this lovely girl among the cutest animals (the digi stamp is called Snow Drop and you can find it in A Day for Daisies shop) it was easy to add some green. Papers are from the Miss Nelly paper pad (Kaisercrafts) and I find them just perfect.
I added tiny light blue dots around the image which seems to be disappeared in the photo!
Isn't this image pure poetry?

Christmas Card Challenge # 14 - Use Heat Embossing

Good morning!
Sunday means Christmas Card Challenges and we have a new theme for you this week: you must use Heat Embossing.

I've tried many times to make something using heat embossing but I understand it's not my technique.
Maybe the fault is of my embossing powder or of my heat embosser but I never like the results.

This is the reason why I've made a little card for this week challenge:
I embossed this little hedgehog from Penny Black (one of my first stamps!) with black powder and colored with Copics.
I must say that this time I love my heat embossed card!
