Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge for the Very First Time!

Although I'm a fan of Paper Smooches stamps, I think it's the very first time I enter their challenge so I'm a bit scared to confront with such wonderful designers. Their cards are always so original!

I actually didn't make a card. Yesterday, after reading about the challenge, I took out my Paper Smooches stamps and made these:

A while ago I made several of these Post-It covers with other stamps and I though that this lovely vintage telephone from the Perpetual Bliss set was perfect.
I was so happy with the result that I also colored the clock included in this set and thought about a new creation!

I Love Spots!

As most of my readers probably know, I'm a fan of spots (or dots... I still haven't understood the difference...) so this week's challenge at Mo's Digital Challenge was perfect for me and for another new digi I bought in January!

This is my card:
She is "Skating" from Mo's Digital Pencil, colored with Copics and lots of glitter. Papers are both from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright paper pad, the button is a recent find at my local craft shop.
I love this light blue/green with red! So fresh and clean! And, most of all... I love that little dog!

This card is for the following challenges:

Christmas Card Challenge # 10 - Tags

Happy Sunday!
And welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week the theme is one of my fav: TAGS!
I love to create tags, especially for Christmas!

These are my tags:

The digi stamp is from Broken Box Stock and is called Hot Chocolate. Isn't it yummy?
I used my Copics to color the image and mounted it on a kraft tag with red stripes.

Have a look at my teamies' creations, you'll surely be inspired!

I'd like to enter my tags into the following challenges:

A Fun Challenge.

Cold and rainy weather is perfect to have a reason to stay at home and create cards!
On Thursday it rained the whole day, heavy rain... so grateful to my husband who collected our daughter from school and went to the haidresser! They both looked very handsome when they came back home and I didn't have to go out!

I needed some new baby cards for my shop and I had already printed two Baby Storks from Meljen's Designs so when I read the theme of this week's challenge at Meljen's Designs Challenge blog I decided to make the cards and see how long it took to make one.
Yes, the challenge is Time's Up! - Less than 30 minutes to create a card.

I already had the idea of the card in my mind so I only needed to cut card base, papers, color the digi and put things together to make this:

and this:

It took me 25 minutes to make one card, including some time to fasten the button to the ribbon with needle and thread, thing that I hate...
It took me a bit less to make the boy card (except for the needle and thread part...).
Anyway, the image was super fast to color with Copic markers. I then added papers from Pink Petticoat, pearls, rhinestones and a ribbon with bow and button.

This card is for the following challenges:

A Little Ballerina.

I've been honoured to win last week's challenge at A Day for Daisies with my most treasured card (you can read all about it here) and I've decided to make a card for their new challenge.

The theme is "Use Pink and Red" and I chose Little Dancer Two for my card.

I was a ballerina myself when I was younger even if without too much enthusiasm but, while making this card, I was inspired by my daughter.
She loves her ballet lessons, maybe genes passed directly from my mother to her...
Anyway, for me ballet is all about pinks and whites or baby blues so when I think of a ballerina she must wear a pink or white tutu.
I'm not so lucky with my daughter's tutus for her recitals: the last two were emerald green and yellow with hot pink details...
For sure, with those bright colors it was easier to see her group in the big theatre but they don't mean ballet to me!
That's why I was happy to color my ballerina with pink!

This is my card:
Isn't she lovely and delicate?
I colored this Little Dancer with my Copics and a touch of crystal glitter in her tutu, then mounted it on Doodlebug (Sweet Cakes paper pad) and Echo Park (Country Drive paper pad) papers. The little clouds and flower are from Toga. Lots of rhinestones give a special bling to the card!
Even if my daughter is not blond, I think of her when I see this card!

I'd like to participate in the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 244 - Love / Valentines.

Since I'm a DT member of C.R.A.F.T. Challenge I've had the chance to work with digi stamp companies new to me.

This week it's no exception!
I've been lucky enough to be able to choose a digi stamp from Pattie's Creations and I chose Salt and Pepper Couple for this Love themed challenge.

This is my card:
Aren't they lovely?
Easy to color and super-sweet!
I mounted them on a heart card decorated with a patterned paper from Doodlebug (Sweet Cakes), a white satin ribbon and bow, thinestones and hearts.

Let's go to the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge blog to see all the beautiful creations of my teamies and all the fabulous -and generous - sponsors!

Vintage Greens.

I cannot believe that last week I didn't make a Christmas card!
My DT card for Christmas Cards Challenge was ready and I spent the whole week making cards for various occasions, mainly using images I've recently bought or that I've wanted to use for a long while!

It's the case of the card I want to share today.
It has actually been made following a challenge theme and I must admit that I colored two images, the one I finally put in the card and... a Christmas one!

Let's start from the beginning.
I treated myself with some Mo Manning's digi stamps during the sale in her shop. I often buy images I like during sales but I tend to forget them if I don't use them immediately. The other day I had a look at Mo's Digital Challenge to be inspired to make a card.
The theme is "Lots of Layers" so I started coloring two images and I finally opted for this:

I fell in love with this digi the first time I saw it. It is Jack Driving and I'm still deciding if my favourite is Jack, happy driving his car, or his mother (maybe his granny?), a bit scared...
We have all taken driving lessons or been next to someone learning so we all know what it means...

The green scheme arrived by chance, I didn't want to color the card red so I went for some vintage greens, maybe it's the old lady's car...
Papers are from a Forever Friends paper pad called The Good Life.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Christmas Card Challenge # 9 - Anything Goes!

Anything Goes!
This week's theme at Christmas Card Challenges is super-easy and I've had the chance to make a card using a digi I bought before Christmas and still had to use.

This is my card:
This lovely penguin is from Marina Neira and is called Messenger Penguin.
I've chosen an orange card, maybe a bit strange as Christmas color but it matches perfectly with these papers from First Edition (Christmas Joy) and can be used for both boys and girls!

My teamies cards are just wonderful!
Have a look at them and be inspired!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 243 - Colour Combo

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we want to see a colour combo on your cards or projects:

And this is my card:

This week I'm particularly happy because I've had the occasion to work for the first time with a Kenny K digi stamp. It is called Spaced and it was perfect to be colored following the combo!
In addition to an absolutely new image, this week I've also used a new light blue doily I found while looking for party supplies for my daughter's birthday and some new sequins.

Kenny K Downloads is one of the fabulous sponsors we have this week so let's start working on your new card and enter our challenge!

A Treasured Card.

Good morning!
I've been thinking about this blog post for about one week.
The reason is that I made a card a long time ago, one of those I love, I treasure, I keep secret waiting for the perfect moment to show it.
The challenge over at A Day for Daisies gave me (in almost one week) the motivation to share it with you.

This is the card:
You won't probably find it anything special and I admit I've probably made more beautiful cards but this is one of my favourite, if not my favourite!
I've used "Treasure" digi stamp from A Day for Daisies and colored it with watercolor pencils and glitter.
Very clean and simple but yes, my fav!

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Well... the only thing I have to do is to click and my card will leave for the world...
