I Love Colors...

... and my daughter loves unicorns!

Well, she actually loves My Little Pony but there are unicorns there so when I saw a digi in 2 Cute Ink shop I thought I - we - should have it!

Differently from my daughter, I don't have a passion for ponies, horses or unicorns, but this stamp was too cute even for me!

I decided to use it for something different from a card and made a large post-it cover, this one:

It is Lucky Unicorn and I wanted to make something colorful with it. I stumbled across this paper from the Country Drive paper pad (Echo Park) while searching for papers for another project.

I kept embellies to a minimum and glued the image directly on the paper pad without 3D dots to keep it practical and less delicate.

This little unicorn is so happy and cheerful!

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week we ask you to forget about patterned papers and let your stamps, inks and other items take the spotlight.

I was happy to have to forget my patterned papers and try something different!

I had just received a new stamp which was perfect for making a very CAS card:

This pretty mouse stamp is from The Makey Bakey Mice collection from Crafter's Companion. I colored it with Copics and lots of glitter in the fur of its coat and added just a couple of rhinestones. Very clean and simple!

I'm sorry I'm a bit late with my post for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge but my computer decided to stop working after 10 years and I've been without it for the whole week!

Anyway, now I'm back on track and there's still plenty of time to enter this week's challenge.

The theme is Recycling/World Earth Day.

I chose to celebrate the Earth because the image I had seemed perfect for this idea:

I chose the sweet Lisbeth on a Swing from MilkCoffee and used a paper by Miss Tiina.

My teamies went for the recycling theme so have a look at their blog and be inspired to recycle!

So sorry I'm late today for my weekly card for our Christmas Card Challenges!

Here's my card:

The theme is "Use Your Favorite Coloring Medium" and mine is, of course, Copic markers!

The image is a sweet stamp from Lili of the Valley and I wanted it to pop out of the card so I kept the background papers quite neutral.

Daisy Mouse Mini Cards.

Just a quick evening post to show you a new creation made with an Eat Cake Graphics rubber stamp, a couple of tiny cards with an adorable mouse, Daisy:

I've used some paper scraps from Pink Petticoat matching some old Lasting Impressions envelopes.

I then added Daisy Mouse with a matching dress, colored with Copics and added punched butterflies.

I love this little mouse!

How is the weather in the place you live?

Well, have a look out of the window and start creating a new project inspired by the weather!

Yes, this week at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge we'd like to see cards or projects inspired by the weather in your little corner of the world.

Here in Italy it's spring, which means sun then rain than sun than rain...

Actually, the last couple of days were quite a bit cold, too. Yesterday it hailed then temperatures dropped below 10°C.

The image I've chosen for my card is perfect for this weather:

The digi stamp is Make It Snappy - Thinking of You from Bugaboo Stamps (I changed the sentiment).

This sassy girl has boots, a pink umbrella and, of course, a yellow raincoat: all she needs to be elegant even with bad weather!

A Birthday Challenge.

The other day I was reading Purple Onion Designs blog and I found out that they are having a challenge.

The theme is "Birthday" and I decided to make a card.

I treated myself with a few of their stamps back in January but the biggest ones were all Christmas-themed.

I added two tiny stamps to my order and I wanted to make my card with them

Think, think, think... and I made this:

The stamps are "Sign" and "Star & Sky" from the Stacey Yacula Studio Collection available at Purple Onion Designs. I colored them with my Copics and mounted them on a long card made with an old ivory card front from Lasting Impressions.

I loved the idea that, starting from tiny stamps, I was able to make a big card!

It's Anything Goes this week at Christmas Card Challenges!

Even if spring is the season I'm less inspired to create Christmas Card, this week it was super-easy to make one (with a bit of spring in it...).

This is my card:

I've finally been able to use a stamp I bought a long ago from Inky Antics. I colored it with Copics and mounted it on a dotted paper decorated with ribbons and rhinestones.

I love the way this little frog looks at me!

A Very Sweet Easter Bunny.

Yesterday I was inspired by the challenge at 2 Cute Ink to finish a card I've had on my table for a while.

I wanted to make a CAS card for Easter using a 2 Cute Ink bunny surrounded by eggs, an image I found perfect for a little baby.

I had already planned everything and colored the image with my Copics but I never found the time to finish it.

I added the bow, some rhinestones and, of course, glitter!

I have exciting news to share with you!

I've been accepted in Eat Cake Graphics Design Team!

I already had some stamps from Eat Cake Graphics so I could start working immediately with their sweet little images. I love them all especially kids and cats!

In fact, my first project is about cats:

 This very very sweet cat is Tarzan and you can find it here in Eat Cake Graphics shop.

It was easy to color, cut and mount on a chipboard plaque covered with patterned paper.
