Christmas with Eat Cake Graphics.

Good morning!
 
I have new Christmas cards for you today, this time with Eat Cake Graphics stamps!
 
These are my cards:
 

I made two similar cards, using the same papers from Doodlebug (Santa's Workshop Collection).
The girl stamp is Isabella (Girl in Winter Coat) while the sentiment is Look a Lot Like Christmas (Text), both from Eat Cake Graphics.
Isabella is colored with Copics and positioned using pop-up dots.
She looks so cute and I imagine she's staring at a window full of Christmas decorations!
 
I love creating with Eat Cake Graphics stamps! For shipping reasons I prefer buying bare rubber only, but it's easy to fix them on acrylic blocks with double-sided tape.
They stamp wonderfully, with clean thin lines and, even if the stamps I choose are small and very detailed, I don't loose anything!

Christmas Card Challenges # 29 - Use 3 or More Patterned Papers

Good morning and welcome to Christmas Card Challenges # 29!
 
This week we want you to use all those patterned papers you have in your stash: use 3 or even more!
It's time to put your scraps into good use!!
 
This is my card:
 

This cute Penguin is Celebration Penguin available here in 2 Cute Ink shop. It's actually meant to be a Penguin celebrating a birthday but I decided it was celebrating Christmas!
 
Again, I followed an uncommon palette for Christmas: pinks and light blues, colors I always love, for Christmas and for everything else!
Papers are from the Special Delivery by Helz Cuppleditch paper pad.
I used lots of buttons, too... oohh, what a sacrifice!

I chose Ruby Christmas Ornaments from Bugaboo stamps, I colored her with Copics and mounted her on a red card covered with a dotted paper from Cartabella (Merry & Bright Collection).

Inspired by Colors!

I've just finished a project for a Rainbow Party and I'm still in the "colors, colors, colors!" mood...
 
So, inspired by a challenge on The Alley Way Stamps Challenge Blog I created some colorful tags using one of my The Alley Way neglected stamps.
 
These are my tags:
 
I've had The Alley Way Stamps Kitchen Gadgets set of clear stamps for a looong while and I decided it was time to use at least one of its gorgeous stamps.
 
I made these square tags with my neglected square punches using a white cardstock and a bright gingham paper and adding the jam colored with Copics and glued with 3D dots. A rhinestone and a satin ribbon decorate the tag.
 
I don't like to cook but I'd always thought about making my own jams... I don't think I'll ever do that but I have the cutest tags ready to decorate them, just in case...

Herbert & Daisy Mouse again!

Good morning and happy Monday!
 
Now that school and related activities are over, I hope to have a bit more time to go back to my crafting table and create new projects... I'm a bit behind schedule...
 
Today I want to show you a card I made a while ago:
 
 
They are Herbert Mouse and Daisy Mouse from Eat Cake Graphics, probably my favourite stamps!
They are so tiny and cute! I can't stop creating with them!
 
I found the two frames in my stash and mounted them on a paper from Simple Stories (Daily Grind). Tha maps inside the frames are from the Travel Girl collection (October Afternoon).
I honestly was inspired by a card I had just seen in Eat Cake Graphics blog although it turned out completely different!
Black is not my color for cards but I love how it has turned out!

Summer's Here!

Well, it seems summer is finally here.
 
School is over and the weather seems to be finally settled.
Yesterday, it was my daughter's last day of elementary school: they were all very sad, tears and memories and a long afternoon spent with her, playing and trying to enjoy the start of the summer holidays and forgetting the sadness of the end of these wonderful 5 years.
 
The school is very close to our home and I'll surely be sad in September when, walking by, she won't be there in the park playing and laughing with her friends and running towards me to say hello!
 
Anyway, as I tell her, we have been blessed with great teachers, with 5 incredible years, with amazing friends that she won't miss even if they attend different secondary schools.
 
So today it's the official start of the summer holidays and, even if I still have my spring cleaning to be done, walls to paint, winter coats to put away and a great mess around, I want to celebrate summer with this card:
 
 
I used Honeymoon Toodles from Broken Box Stock (available here in black and white and here in a colored version) and colored them with Copics. I chose patterned papers in bright colors (sorry, they are old scraps and I don't remember the Company).
 
They are honeymooners but I think that the image is suitable for a beach vacation too!

Season's Tweetings.

Hello!
Today I'd like to show you a couple of cards I've just finished for Eat Cake Graphics:
 
 
I chose Season's Tweetings and made the cutest small cards ever!
 
I simply added a dotted paper matching my card base, a white lace ribbon and a red+gold or gold only ribbons to make these cards very festive!
 
It's been nice to be back to some traditional colors for my Christmas cards!
 
This stamp is so versatile, perfect for small messages on a tag or inside a card, too!
That bird is too cute!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 262 - Father's Day

Good morning!
 
It's Thursday and this means a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!
With Father's Day close by, this week we ask you to show us your cards or projects dedicated to your father or to the man in your life!
 
Quite strange for us in Italy to think about father's Day for we celebrate it in March but I had an idea in mind so it was not too difficult.
 
Here's my card:
 
I chose Just Fishing from A Day for Daisies with the idea to put two boys in the image, one small and the other resized to seem hid dad.
I don't know if it's clear but I love to think about a dad and his son fishing together, a very special moment!
 I colored them with Copics, while papers are from Bella Blvd (above) and K & Co.

Christmas Card Challenge # 27 - Stencils

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!
A bit later than usual but ready to introduce you our new DT members: have a look here to meet them all and see their fabulous creations!
 
As for the theme, this week we want you to use stencils on your project!
 
I climbed my huge bookshelf to reach for my neglected stencils: I put them away last year and was pretty unsure if they were up there... but they were!
 
Here's my card:
 
I used a tiny snowflakes stencil (which may seem a stamp but it's a stencil) and some blue paint from DecoArt: I love the way it's turned out!
It was easy because the stencil was meant to be used on glass so it was a bit sticky without leaving traces on the card and adhered perfectly. I'm pretty disappointed that I didn't make a bigger card!
For sure, I'll look through all my stencils and keep my fav in a more handy place!
 
The image is from There She Goes colored with my Copics and my Stickles glue.
 
As I already anticipated, we have some new team members starting from this week!
