C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 285 - Christmas.

Good morning and welcome to our C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

 

This week it's all about Christmas!

 

I've had the chance to work with a great image this week and this is my card:

 

 

This adorable mouse is Snowflake Butterfly available from StitchyBear Stamps, one of our wonderful sponsors this week!

 

I printed the mouse on a background paper from My Grafico while the other papers are from Toga.

Here I am agan today, this time for the new challenge over at 2 Cute Inks Challenge blog!

 

This week it's all about colors: Orange - Brown - Yellow:

 

 For this challenge I chose a new digi stamp which is perfect for the given colors:

 

 

 

which became this:

 

 

I transformed this cute sunflower into a family, by resizing the images, I then added little details for the boys and the girls.

These colors are perfect for autumn cards as well as for Thanksgiving cards.

Not Just Cards Challenge # 06

Great news this morning!

 

I'm one of the new DT members over at Not Just Cards Challenge blog!!!

 

When I discovered this challenge last month I was so happy because I love to use stamps for something different from cards and this challenge was perfect. Of course, I immediately entered the DT call and, when they accepted me, I was over the moon!!!!

 

So this is my very first project for this challenge:

 

 

As soon as I saw this snowman I fell in love with it! And what about the smiling robin?

It's Snow Friends by StampArt Design by Kathryne (available from Whimsy Stamps) mounted on a chipboard plaque covered with a paper from First Edition.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing my teamies' creations and of course to see what you create!

Remember: the theme is always Anything Goes!

My Little Monster... again!

I must confess... I'm still creating with my new cute little monster from Your Next Stamp.

Actually, I finished only a little gift for my mom to thank her for the wonderful lunch she prepared for us today and, for the rest, there are lots of monsters on my table, lots of ideas jotted down but nothing finished...

 

Except this one:

 

 

She is part of the Silly Monsters 2 set of stamps while the cupcakes are from Papermania.

 

As I told you here on my previous post, I love the sketch over at Your Next Stamp Challenge blog and I think I'll use it again in the future:

 

Today, I thought about a lucky birthday monster dreaming on yummy cupcakes...

 

Well, really little time left... I should have worked on custom orders but I needed some time to create with something which made me smile!

Christmas Card Challenges # 50 - Faith.

Happy Sunday and welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

 

As usually we always have at least one challenge with a theme that reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas and here we are.

The theme this week is in fact Faith based.

 

I gave myself a brand new digi stamp to create something special for this challenge.

This super sweet digi stamp is A Special Gift from A Day for Daisies

I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so I added only a few rhinestones and two tiny bells tied to a white sheer ribbon..

 

I can't wait to see what you have created!

Good afternoon!

 

I'm happy to show you a new Christmas card:

 

 

A sweet scene of kids on a sleigh among houses and snow...

 

Although weather is miserable here, we have rain and rain and rain, it's not too cold for November and both winter and snow seem quite far away.

I enjoyed myself making this card and imagining how happy and excited these kids (and the dog) should be!

 

For this card I used Sleigh Ride from Eat Cake Graphics, colored with Copics and positioned on a patterned paper from the Eskimo Kisses collection (Basic Grey).

There is also a version of the same sleigh with the landscape: you can find it here in Eat Cake Graphics shop.

Good morning and welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

 

With December and Christmas fast approaching (too fast!), we have thought about a Winter theme for this week.

 

This is my card:

 

 

These penguins are Mistletoe Kisses from Pink Gem Designs which I assembled using a white card blank and papers from Dovecraft and DCWV. I wanted to use non-traditional Christmas colors because I needed super-sweet colors for these little penguins!

I've It in my Hands at Last!

A while ago I fell in love with a little stamp.

 

Every time I switched on the computer, I had a look at it in the shop. Then, one day, I bought it.

And now I can hold it in my hands!

 

I don't know why I fall in love with certain images, they speak to me and I always think about making somemthing for my mum, for, I know, she'd love it too!

 

This morning I had some time to make a card and this cute little monster is now on my desk next to the computer smiling at me!

 

Let's start with the card:

 

 

She is (it's a she, of course) one of the little monters of the Silly Monsters 2 stamp set from Your Next Stamp and, to make my card, I followed the sketch of Your Next Stamp Challenge # 1:

 

(I chose to follow the sketch but there's also a Color Challenge if you prefer, all details here).

 

I had various ideas in mind, this sketch is absolutely lovely and I think I'll use it again in the future, but I finally chose to make a Christmas card, coloring my little monster with red and glitter.

 

I've made a mini card, a size I love even if I know it's impossible to post, I think it's perfect to accompany a gift or a bunch of flowers.

 

Well, it's time to go back to my orders, not before to lin it to:

In creating this card I created an ideal man, too.

 

A man who gives you the perfect gifts: bags and chocolate!

 

Well, for me it should have been bags and bags but I love chocolate too!

He is Mr. Knickerbocker Doesn't Know from Eat Cake Graphics but this time he knows!

 

The bag stamp is from Stampin' Up and the cup of chocolate from Studio G.

 

I LOVE him! (and his bag...).

It's Sunday and this means a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week the theme may be super-easy or a bit difficult, it depends on the amount of embellishments you use on your cards.

 

For me, it's pretty difficult to avoid embellishments, I love to add rhinestones, pearls and ribbons, but today I've made an exception!

 

Here's my card:

 

 

I'm SO happy with it!

First of all because I've finally had the chance to use one of the stamps I bought last year from Purple Onion Designs. It's Snowy Trio and these snowmen look oh! so cute!

That's the second reason for I'm happy with my card: they are tooooo cute, I'd like to squeeze them!

 

It's been nice to make a clean and simple card for a change and I think that this big stamp is particularly suitable for this type of cards.
