Let the Good Times Roll!

I had a lot of fun these past weeks to create something for Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges and probably the best part was to do it with just a couple of stamp sheets so I decided I had to create something for the new challenge.

This is a Designer Drafts Challenge and we have to make a card following this sketch:

And this is my card:

This radio is from the Perpetual Bliss set of clear stamps available in Paper Smooches shop and I regret the new stamp set I ordered last week hasn't arrived yet because it would have given a special touch.
I went for a 50's retro style with EP Sunshine papers: the radio paper inspired the whole card!

I have another idea with the same sketch, I hope to have time to finish my card and to blog about it too!

2 Cute Ink Challenge # 118 - Halloween Treats.

Halloween will be here in just a few days and the theme of our new challenge at 2 Cute Ink is Halloween Treats!

We have a brand new stamp to feature this week which I found delicious even if I've never had one...

It is called Carmel Apple and is available here in 2 Cute Ink shop.

These apples are not in our tradition but it is too cute and yummy to not fall in love with it and I enjoyed making my card for this challenge!

I've already checked my teamies cards and well... if you need some inspiration you will find it in their cards!

Christmas Card Challenges # 48 - Anything Goes.

It's Anything Goes here at Christmas Card Challenges!

In a couple of months Christmas will already be over so it's time to start making those necessary Christmas Cards or projects, just in case you haven't started yet!

Today I have something different to show you:

I haven't made a card but I've made a cute shopping list notepad with a sweet girl .
She is Shopping Spree from Di's Digistamps: I love her coat and, of course, her little dog!

The Challenge is already live, I'm a bit late this morning since Summer Time ended last night and I enjoyed an additional hour in bed!
I checked my teamies projects and they are all wonderful and inspiring.
Check them here or on their personal blogs:

Yellow for Valentine's Day.

Good morning!
Here I am today with a totally unexpected post to show you a card I made yesterday.
It was so healthy to change my focus, to use yellow and to think about something different from Christmas!

I was inspired by the challenge over at Paper Smooches: it's a very simple Anything Goes challenge but I wanted to enter a card and, having only a couple of their stamps, it was a real mission.

I actually had an idea in mind using one of their digis but it didn't work so I decided to use one of the stamps from the Falling for You set trying something new.

This is my card:

I wanted to monsters to look at each other but, while this is possible with digi stamps, it's not with clear stamps.
I decided to try and stamp one monster on the back of my paper, trace the outline on the right side of the paper and then color it and cut it.
And now I have a monster boy and a monster girl!
And a Valentine card!
I know yellow it's not a typical color for Valentines but it's not the first time I use it, maybe I love the happiness of yellow and the happiness of love.

Watching from the Window.

Good morning!

Today I have a new Christmas card to show you:

When I chose this stamp from Eat Cake Graphics I started imaging what the little girl could be watching from the window at Christmas.
I then found this paper from My Little Shoebox and... that's what she was looking at!

She is Mary and Mr. Meow at Window (and there's is also a version with Billy and Sparky at Window in case you prefer boys and dogs) and you can find her here in Eat Cake Graphics shop, both mounted and unmounted.

I love this stamp very much and I'm working on more samples so stay tuned!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 282 - Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving

We have plenty of inspiration for your cardmaking at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week!
The theme is wide and popular in this time of the year: you can make a card for Halloween, for Thanksgiving or just for fall!

I chose Halloween and made this:

I chose a digi from QKR called Happy Halloween, colored with Copics and mounted on a striped card decorated with some glittery bats. I then added the eyes on them to make them more friendly!

I've had some sneak peeks from my fellow DT members and they are great so don't forget to have a look at our Challenge Blog to see them!

We also have great sponsors as usual and QKR is one of them! They have a huge collection of digis so you won't miss the oppurtunity to win a prize!

Happy Fall.

As I promised yesterday, here I am with a different version of the stamp I featured in my last post, Pumpkin Patch ohhhh from Eat Cake Graphics.

This time it's a fall version:

I really love the way these pumpkins look around them and what about the last one on the right, with two leaves as hands? They are so cute!

I love fall and I like to make cards for this season!

Spooky Halloween.

As I always write at this time of the year, Halloween is not a tradition of ours here in Italy.
When I was a kid, it was something that Charlie Brown was waiting for at night among the pumpkins.
My daughter and her friends live Halloween as it has always been in our tradition. It's normal to go trick or treating and to wait for friends to collect candies.
Things change quickly...

As a cardmaker, I have to deal with Halloween and sometimes I make cards.
It's something I don't really feel inside but it's funny to create cards and things with this theme.

Today, I have a spooky card to show you:

This card is made with some old scraps of papers and a lovely stamp from Eat Cake Graphics: it's called Pumpkin Patch Ohhhh...! and is available mounted and unmounted, like all the stamps from Eat Cake Graphics.
I loved the idea that the pumpkins were scared by the bats flying around!
I also made another version of the card with a fall theme, I'll blog about it soon!

Christmas Card Challenge # 47 - Inspiration Photo.

Hello!
Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week the theme is simply a-do-ra-ble!

Have a look at this pic:

Isn't it sweet?
This is my version:

Cute tags using an image from Doodle Dragon Studios!
The papers are from a First Edition paper pad, Fetive Treats.

I LOVE this mouse dreaming of a snowy cheese! Even if it seems a bit angry...

I can't wait to see what my teamies have created this week, I haven't had the time to check them this week before the challenge goes live so I'm pretty curious.

I Love This Card!

Today I'm happy to show you one of my favourite cards for this year:

I made it a while ago using Paddling in the Canoe, a super cute stamp by Eat Cake Graphics.
This time I imagined a boy paddling at night under a starry sky and a big moon.

I regret I have only a few scraps left of the starry paper so I don't think I can duplicate thi card... I'll probably keep it for myself for a little while...
