Christmas Card Challenge # 15 - Anything Goes.

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!

This week it's Anything Goes:

And this is my card:

I colored this cute snail from Lelo Designs ages ago and I finally made a card with it!

The card base is from a local shop. Then I added pearls and my fav ribbon embellished with a button.
Maybe colors are a bit unusual for Christmas but I like to change every now and then!

Don't forget to have a look on the challenge blog to see the amazing creations from the DT and to check if you're a winner from last week!

The Wedding Season is Fast Approaching.

Thinking about upcoming events, I realized that May is not too far and that it was a good thing to start making some new wedding cards.

The first is this one:

In my files she's called "the thin bride" because she's so thin and elegant but her "true" name is actually a bridesmaid: Bridesmaid Toodle from Broken Box.
I used to be in their DT and I enjoyed every minute of it. I still look through their image when I need to make a new card.
Their toodles are absolutely adorable and their brides are no exception!

I colored her with Copics and used two papers from DCWV as background. I then needed to add two tiny pearls as earrings!

This card is for the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge # 353: International Women's Day

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop. If you cannot find it or if you'd like it in other colors, please contact me and I'll be pleased to create something just for you!

A Guest Designer Spot for Crafting by Designs.

I'm pretty excited this morning because I've been asked to join Crafting by Designs for this week's challenge.

The theme is Monochromatic and I made this card:

These coffee cups are from the Coffee Lovers digi stamps set from Drawn with Character.
I colored them with just a shade of neutrals and assembled the card with papers from Dovecraft.

I've a few projects with these cups on my desk, all waiting to be finished! Can't wait to have some time to complete them!

Thank you Crafting by Designs for this wonderful opportunity!

Happy Sunday!

These colors inspired me to finally make a card!
Background papers are from Doodlebug and she is colored with Copics of course!
She's lovely!

Butterflies and Birthday.

I've been noticing that I often add butterflies to my cards.

Whether it's a children card or a more grown-up one, butterflies always help me adding little details and bring in lots of cheer.

I've found a digi stamp in my archive which has a girl and butterflies all in one image!
I couldn't keep myself from making a new card!

She's Butterfly Toodle from Broken Box Stock, colored with Copics and mounted on a background paper from Bella Blvd.
I couldn't add any additional butterfly around my toodle but I had plenty of space near the bow to add two die cuts I found in my stash!

A girly spring-y birthday!

Hello There!

I'm surrounded by unfinished projects... I'd like to make all the things I have in mind but (luckily?) custom orders force me to leave them aside and work on something else.

At least, I managed to finish one of the projects I had been working on recently.
I've tried to make some sneak peeks on Instagram of the coloring and creating process. Being a newbie, I wanted to learn a bit more about the way Instagram works and, thanks to my daughter, I've also found a way to add some details to my pics.

Anyway, here's my project:

These sweet gnomes are from MFT stamps and I've had them for a little while so time has come to make something out of them.
I've found these little signs/magnets in my stash and yes, they are perfect for the gnomes!

I covered each sign with a bright patterned paper from October Afternoon, I colored the gnomes with my Copics and assembled everything adding a small wording and, of course, two tiny pearls.

I love them! They talk about spring and garden time!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

These magnets are for sale in my Etsy shop. If you can't locate them, please ask!

CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for March.

March already!

As usual it's Anything Goes and as usual we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

Instead of making a card, this month I've opted for something different:

A recipe book!
I chose the adorable Chef Pierre - Test and colored him with Copics.
Background paper is from American Crafts.
I opted for a Christmas-sy palette of green and red which happens to be also the colors of our flags.

I love Chef Pierre! It's not my first creation with one of these digis and I always find him so cute!

We can't wait to see what you create for next Christmas!
If you need some inspiration, have a look here to see the Amazing creations from the DT!

Welcome to our last Christmas Card Challenge challenge for February!

This week we have a picture to inspire you:

In detail:

A purple tree!
Which I used in this card:

I chose Chloe and Xmas Tree from DigiStamp Boutique and colored her with Copics.
Papers are from my stash, sorry I cannot remember the brand.

Can't wait to see your take on this purple tree inspiration!

A Mother's Day Card.

Good morning!

I have a new card to share with you today, for Mother's Day this time!

I already have a Father's Day card with giraffes (you can see it here) but I couldn't resist to this Mommy and Baby Giraffe digi stamp from Drawn with Character.

I colored with Copics and used a paper from Lawn Fawn as background, together with lots of butterlies.
They are sweet, aren't they?

Boy Voyage.

Bon Voyage cards are among my favourites.
Maybe because I like to travel or because I feel that every trip, no matter how far, is full of dreams, expectations and excitement.

I've recently made this card:

When I heard The Alley Way Stamps was closing down, I reached for my stamps and decided to put them in good use.
This plane is from the Priceless Joy set of stamps.
Paper is from Echo Park (Country Drive).

Even if I have no trip scheduled in the next future, this plane heading for the sun makes me dream of flying somewhere...
