Hoppy Spring!

I've just finished my first spring and Easter cards!
I'm happy to be back to pastel colors after all that red!

Here's my card:

I've used Spring Bunnies from Hambo Digi Stamps, a digi I had wanted for a long time and which I gave myself at the end of last year. I love this digi so much that I made two cards, one for spring and one for Easter!

I've always had the idea to use some foam pads to add dimension to some of the bunnies, a lovely little detail!
Colors are Copics and papers are from First Edition.

This card is for the following challenges:

Christmas 2013 - Card # 4

Oh yes!
Another card for Christmas is done!

With the inspiration of the ABC Christmas Challenge I've just finished my 4th!

The theme is C for CASE the Card and I've decided to case this card:

It was done back in winter 2010 by Squirrel (you can find it here) and I love its clean and simple look.

This is my version:
I've used this lovely digi stamp from Broken Box Stock called Bundled Up (available in a colored version too) and mounted it on a white card with two panels cut from embossed cardstock.
I love her!

These are the challenges I'm entering:
ABC Christmas Challenge: C is for CASE the card

318 days until Christmas and 4 cards are done!

Birds

This week I'm inspired by birds. I've made a couple of cards with birds and I'm working on a couple of other. They are all so cute!

The first one is this:
I've used one of the birds in the A Little Birdie Told Me Collection by DigiStamp Boutique and colored it with the idea to make a bright card.
I found the flower paper in my stash (so no clue about the manufacturer, but it should be quite old) and thought it was perfect for what I had in mind.
And, for once, I didn't have to think about the sentiment!

This card is for the following challenges:

A Sketch Challenge

Last week, when I saw the Challenge over at Sparkle Creations I was a bit scared. It seemed a very complicated sketch to follow.
Yesterday, I decided to print the sketch and keep it in front of me while I was making my card and I managed to follow it easily!

This is the sketch:

And this is my card:
She is Bookworm Ruby from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps: I stamped her with black ink, colored with Copics and mounted on DCWV papers using foam pads.
I've finally managed to use the alphabet stamps I bought long ago but never been able to use and I love the way the sentiment has turned out!

This card is for the following challenges:

This week we have a lovely theme at Broken Box Stock: Be My Valentine!

As you know, this year I've made lots of Valentine cards and I made a special one for this challenge:
I used Valentine Toodles and a heart paper from Pink Petticoat. I added a glittered panel from DCWV and... a couple of my favorite buttons.

Isn't she cute?

A Button Challenge

I love buttons.

I have tons of them in tiny acrylic boxes, in bigger glass jars... I kept the ones I found in my grandmothers' cupboards when they passed away, I save them from clothes I throw away...

And it's difficult for me to part with most of them.

That's why I rarely enter a challenge with buttons as theme... but this week I've made an exception with this card:

The image is a lovely digi stamp from Jellypark which I colored with Copics and glitter and mounted on a pink cardstock panel with a punched border.
These mice are so sweet, aren't they?

I'm entering the card into the following challenges:
Jellypark Challenge: Button Up!

I Love You!

This year I'm definitely inspired by Valentines!

I've just finished another card:
I've used my favorite S.W.A.L.K. stamp and some pink/red papers, the most traditional colors for a Valentine card!
I used this image past for a Christmas cards and I love the fact that, by changing colors, it's perfect for a love card, too!

I've a little time to write right now as I'm waiting for some guests and I want to enter some challenges with this new card:
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 191: Valentine's day or Love
Delicious Doodles Challenge # 20: All You Need Is Love

Wings

Pretty unusual for me, I've just finished a card with fairies:
I don't know why but I'm not a fan of fairies. With a few exceptions (like this one) I never buy stamps with them. When I saw the theme at Tiddly Inks Challenges this week I was a bit worried I wouldn't have been able to enter but then I saw this image and... yes, that was perfect! It's a long while (years) that I have it but, for one reason or another, I've never managed to color it and make a card.
These fairies are so pretty and... oh! How I wish to have them helping me when I put my lights on the Christmas tree!!!

This card is for the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks Challenge # 102: Wings
ABC Christmas Challenge: B for Boys or BOWS
Winter Wonderland Challenge: It Takes Two
Christmas Cards All Year Round January Challenge: Anything Goes

Well, 331 days to Christmas and 3 cards are ready!

Valentines again!

In my valentine madness this year I'm making lots of Valentine cards.

Today I'm showing you one of my favourites:
She's the newly released My Valentine Toodle digi stamp from Broken Box Stock. I colored her with Copics and glitter, then I cut and glued her to a heart-shaped card. A special sentiment, some pearls, two pretty flowers and a super-sweet card is ready!

I'm entering the following Challenges:
Deep Ocean Challenge # 43: Anything but Square
