Here I am again with another project for next Christmas!

Not a card this time but some tags!

Inspired by the challenge theme at ABC Christmas Challenge: Holiday Helpers, I've decided to use a cute image from DigiStamp Boutique and I've made this:

I cut my tags from green textured cardstock, added a piece of glittered cardstock from The Christmas Joy Paper Pad from First Edition, decorated it with some red ric-rac, added two rhinestones and a little heart.

I've had a great fun in decorating the elf with glitter and a pom pom on his hat.

I Love Washi Tape!

It's been a while since washi tape is on the craft tables but here in Italy it's starting to arrive now.

Well, not in my area but, thanks to some UK mags and to Ikea, I've collected a few tapes.

I've recently visited a craft fair but washi tape was either extremely expensive or not so pretty so I couldn't add any new piece to my collection.

That's why it took a while for me to make a card for the challenge at Sparkle Creations: the theme is washi tape!

My tapes are in a very narrow range of colors: red & white or in pink tones so I have limits while making my cards. Sooner or later, I'll buy some new tapes from the internet...

Well, this is my card:

She is Café Lucy mounted on a turquoise card with a paper from Toga.

Instead of using stripes of washi tape, I made some little flags for my bunting: I love them!

It's time for Challenge # 24 at Broken Box Stock and the theme is FLOWERS!

Perfect for spring!

This is my card:

I've used a sweet little girl digi stamp called Thanks a Bunch (available here in black & white and here colored) which I printed on a big piece of paper which I glued on a cream cardstock. The green border matches the satin ribbon and the little cloud perfectly!

I wanted the card to be fresh and spring-y so I colored the dress in bright yellows and oranges with matching socks and shoes.

To have more flowers on my card, I added a little yellow rose in the bow and a chipboard flower in the cloud.

I love its simple layout!

Christmas 2013 - Card # 9

While checking Christmas Challenges earlier this week, I noticed that at Christmas Card Challenges the theme was perfect for a card I've had in mind for ages: VINTAGE.

First, this is the card:

I've already told you how much I love Poinsettia Charlotte from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps and, back at the end of last year, I bought a paper pad from First Edition called Stocking Fillers mainly for I loved a paper with a vintage feel which was perfect for that stamp.

Now that I finally have my Poinsettia Charlotte I've made my card.

I had these pretty cards out for another project I'm working on so I decided one was perfect for this project too.

I love its fresh simple look with a touch of vintage!

Christmas 2013 - Card # 8

Maybe I'm too in need of sunny days and warm weather, but yesterday I made a Christmas card using lots of yellow...

I bought this sweet image at Pollycraft last year and, inspired by the challenge theme at ABC Christmas, I decided to use it for a card.

I first colored the boy and then I started looking for the papers. I know that lilac and yellow are quite an unusual match so I tried several other matches but this was the perfect one.

There's a touch of glitter in both of the papers and I love how the yellow paper matches the bell and the hat while the lilac snowflakes match the jacket.

Frogs.

I didn't know to have a passion for frogs until I discovered stamps... I found so many little cute frogs and I had to have some of them...

Some of my favourite frogs come from Doodle Dragon Studios, like this one:

I already used it in other cards but I'm never tired to see it!

Easy to color, perfect for a girl or a boy, a happy face which brightens every day!

This card was quick and easy to make: I printed the papers from Pink Petticoat chosing soft pastel spring colors, then I simply added a border, pearls, a sentiment and some butterflies.

Just for Fun!

A few weeks ago, I noticed a basket full of little notebooks while shopping and I decided I had to buy two and make something creative with them.

I remembered I had sport-related digis and I chose two of the most popular sports:

Basket and soccer!

The images are from Bugaboo Stamps and the fact I had a boy and a girl made it perfect because I could add something girly to one of them!

Aren't they lovely?

Can a Poinsettia Become a Daisy?

There's an interesting challenge at Sparkle Creations this fortnight, a photo inspiration:

Blue skies, white daisies and a butterfly... SPRING!

I actually have no stamp that inspires me to make something for this challenge but one, Poinsettia Charlotte. Weather being still rainy and cold (yes, we had just one lovely sunny morning yesterday...) I decided to turn red poinsettias into white ones (are they similar to daisies?) and go with a light blue color scheme to follow the challenge inspiration.

Tiny butterflies here and there and a simple elegant card is ready!

I've loved so much this stamp and this color combo that I decided to make something else with it so stay tuned!!

A Lovely Spring Morning.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I woke up this morning and saw that it was a sunny day!

We spent Easter vacations under the rain and this also meant that we all got flu... quite annoying.

I didn't have high fever but my bones... well, I felt like I had been to a boxing match!

Daughter gone back to school today, I can sit down and write this post before finishing some projects I left unattended for a week.

With The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge # 25 in mind I created a card and matching tag.

First, here's the inspiration:

I first created a tag using the car in the Priceless Joy set from The Alley Way Stamp:

The paper is from The Country Drive Collection from Echo Park and I simply added a dotted satin ribbon and a couple of pearls.

Then, I made the card:

With the same stamp from The Alley Way Stamps, paper from Echo Park and light green dotted ribbon.

I love this girly set, it reminds me of spring weekends and Easter Monday picnics (no, not this year...) leaving for the country...

To tell you the truth... pink is my favorite color and sometimes I'd like to have a pink car... it should be much prettier than a standard black one, right?

Longing for Spring...

I can't believe we are still wearing winter coats, scarves and wool stockings at the end of March!

It's rainy, dark and it seems more the end of November than the beginning of Spring...

Luckily enough, I had to think about something spring-y for my DT project this week at Broken Box Stock and I was inspired by flowers, butterflies and pastel colors!

I wanted to create something fresh and new for a desk, to inject some positive thinking into these boring days and made this:

For this notepad I used T.G.I.F. digi stamp from Broken Box Stock and colored it with Copics and lots of glitter. I love this gal, she's so pretty and happy! She really makes me smile every time I see her! And I'm never too tired to use her for my projects!
