Stickers on a Card!

I was clearing a basket full of undefined stuff when I found some lovely stickers my daughter gave me for Christmas.
I immediately remembered that this week's challenge at Meljen's Design it's all about Stickers!
It was the perfect reason to make a card, enter a challenge and use my stickers!

This is the card:
Aren't these lilac glittered hearts lovely?
I used Teeny Mouse Hugs from Meljen's Designs shop and patterned papers from TPC.
I added a heart sticker on the inside, too

I forgot to tell my daughter, hope she'll be happy to see that I've used them for one of my craft projects!

This card is for the following challenges:

Christmas Card Challenge # 8 - One Layer Card

Welcone back to Christmas Card Challenges!

This week we want to see Christmas cards with only one layer. Easy, isn't it?

This is my card:

I've used the fabulous Holly Tree by DigiStamp Boutique: I simply printed it on white cardstock, colored it with Copics, added tons of red stickles glue on the berries and lots of green rhinestones here and there.
There is also the Mistletoe Tree with which I've made a light green version of this card, but I'll show you another time!

Your inspiration to make Christmas cards is gone away with decorations? Have a look at all the other creations from the DT, you'll surely be inspired!

What Fun!

I've just finished a card I can't wait to share with you.
I saw a sketch and I immediately had an idea for a card which I've just finished!

This is the sketch:
The challenge is the new January Challenge at Whimsie Doodles!
Although I have several of their digi stamps, I don't remember if I've ever entered one of their challenges.
This sketch is so lovely and funny!

This is my card:

(I'm sorry for the horrible picture but it's a rainy day here and it's also getting dark so I couldn't do anything better...).
I've used "Have a Seat" collection of digi stamps: I've had them for ages but I hadn't had any occasion to use them. This was THE perfect card to put them into good use.
(You can find the entire collection here in Whimsie Doodles shop).
I colored them with my Copics and decoupaged some details. Card base is from Die Cut with a View.
Ribbons and a key charm have been added to decorate the card.
I didn't know I was feeling sketchy before having a look at this fantastic sketch!

Crocodiles for Valentine's Day.

You won't believe but I'm still making Christmas cards... or maybe I'm already making Christmas card.
Or better: I've never stopped making Christmas cards!
Only yesterday I made two cards and some tags...

But I'm also making some Valentine cards, both for DT assignements and for pure pleasure.

Today I want to show you one that I made "just to have fun":

I LOVE this digi stamp called Crocodile Love from The Paper Shelter!
I colored them with my Copics and assembled a light blue card with touches of red, just to remember it's a love-themed card. I added a broad light blue organza ribbon with little hearts on the edges and another ribbon with hearts and Valentine's words.
These crocodiles are so cute!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 242 - Decoupage

Good morning everybody!
And welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we want you to show your crafting abilities and to do some decoupage on your card or craft project.

I made something different for this challenge: I decoupaged a cork board.
I'm trying to declutter and clean my craft room and I need a cork board to pin ideas and inspirations. I don't even know if I ever find the space on the wall, for this reason my cork board is very small:

Back in December I won a C.R.A.F.T. Challenge and I was so lucky to be able to choose from the lovely digi papers by Trimgym's digistamps and images.
I cut four stripes and decoupaged them on the wood frame of the cork board. I then cut four small circles and glued them on the pins.

We have lovely sponsors this week and great prizes so you won't miss the oppurtunity to win one!

Have a look at the projects of my teamies... I've had a sneak peak and they are amazing!

(Oh yes... I'm a fan of Peppa Pig!).

Christmas Card Challenge # 7: Use Polka Dots

Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge with a fabulous theme: use Polka Dots!
I love dots!

And for my card this week I used lots of them!

I used a stocking digi stamp I received from Broken Box Stock and printed it in different sizes. I colored them with my Copics and some glitter and glued them to a baker's twine.

Have a look at my teamies' blogs, their work is amazing this week!

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 241 - Christmas.

Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T Challenge and this week the theme is "Christmas"!

I'm trying to declutter my craft room and this year I've decided that Christmas papers must remain easily accessible for the whole year since I make at least one Christmas cards per week...

Today I want to show you some new tags:
I've been inspired by the images of one of our sponsors, Imagine That!.
It's a set of 10 elements, 3 ornaments and 7 sentiments and it's called Elegant Ornaments. They are on sale now (you can find them here).
Imagine That! is one of our generous sponsors this week: you may win three sets from their lovely range!
I printed the ornament on a background paper by Pink Petticoat and added the sentiment and some gold touches with rhinestones and ribbon.
They are elegant, aren't they?

For all challenge details, sponsors, prizes and for lots more inspiring projects have a look here.

I'd like to enter my tags in the following challenges:

New Paths.

I don't know why but recently I've been attracted by stamps featuring travels.

Is it the new year that inspires me to do something new somewhere new?
Or maybe because I've just heard that some friends are probably moving to China for work in the near future?
Or simply because I love to travel?

The fact is that, when I saw this stamp a little before Christmas, I fell in love with it.

In between DT cards, Christmas decorations to put away and house chores, I've managed to finish a card:

Isn't she cute? And what about the little dog?
This is a digi stamp from A Random Fan called Travel Bug: it's a shop I've just discovered and I simply fell in love with their images! I've had a great fun coloring this little girl: I wanted to be bolder while coloring the car but then I decided to go for a more stylish grey.
All supplies for this card are new and they were all on my table: papers are from a new pad I've found in an English papercraft magazine which I've just bought, buttons are an incredible finding in a nearby shop I made yesterday!

I often thinks of those friends of ours who are probably moving to China. If this happened to me, what would be my reaction? Scare? Enthusiasm? Would I be able to see all the opportunities to live for a while in such a different Country or would I see the risks only?
Sometimes I'd love to have the chance to change my life completely, sometimes I'm grateful my life is not changing so drastically...

Well, let's go back to my little girl and her car.

Christmas Card Challenge # 6 - No Coloring.

Good morning!
Welcome to a new Christmas Card Challenge!
Today we ask you to put away your Copic markers or crayons or whatever you use to color your images because we want to see NO COLORING!

For me, a hard job! The thing I love most is coloring so it's not been easy to do something so different...
This is my card:
I've stamped this image from Pennyblack with white ink on a dark blue cardstock (much darker that it seems on the screen). I then added a few touches here and there to keep the simple look.

Christmas decorations are still around the house because tomorrow is the day we traditionally put them away so it wasn't difficult to have some Christmas inspiration, I hope to be inspired next week too!

If you have already put away your Christmas mood, have a look at my teamies' blogs:

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 240 & Great News!

Happy New Year!

Today I'm pretty excited to share some news with you... I was chosen to be part of C.R.A.F.T. Challenge DT!

And this is my first card for the new challenge:

The theme is a super easy one to start with: Anything Goes!

Since I'm a newbie and I wanted to start with the first challenge of the New year, I didn't have time to choose an image from one of our sponsors but check here and see them all!
There's a total of four different sponsors, each with fabulous prizes!
You won't miss the opportunity to win one of them!

For my card I've used a stamp by Tina Wenke available at SP and Company: it is called Fall Hedgies Kissing and it was love at first sight for me!
I found the background papers a whle ago in a magazine and loved to add tiny rhinestones among the flowers in the upper part of the card!

Well, let's prepare your card and join us in the fun!
